Absolutely I had the same thought about Prince the 1st time I heard this.

This version is almost a conversation between singers. Sometimes I don't think feat another singer or rapper works out and it feels like the singers are singing at each other or just waiting til it's their turn, but this was very lovely. Powerful and melancholic at the same time.
