Same can be said for Simon, Louis and Sharon... They can't sing eithrt but they can judge. Just because you can't sing doesn't mean she's a bad mentor or coach. Remember she went through survival reality show herself when she became a member of Girls Aloud. JLo and Mariah Carey are AMAZING singers but their judging and mentoring is absolutely despicable. Cheryl has had a good track record with winners and her acts. It makes sense that she keeps judging on the X-factor

Thing is, if she were time-travelled back to the 1960s and forced to knock out a live performance on a flat PA with minimal rehearsal and session musicians who couldn't give a toss, she'd be totally f*cked. As it stands, not even auto-tune can mask this horror.

Cheryl murdered a beautiful song. Gary was great as usual.

Amazing performance from the millionaire "Singer" Cheryl...somehow she managed to miss every note that alone takes talent.

I like it I know Cheryl not the best of singers, but she was nervous singing for the queen and singing a song that she likely not that familiar off, glad Gary never stole the show he has respect man!

To be fair we all have our off days and nerves must of been high. She’s human like the rest of us, we just have the luxury of not having a million cameras on us. She didn’t call in sick or give excuses she still went up there and did the best she could.

At first i thought this was a prank video where 'detune' is used, deliberately, to make the singers sound bad.........but then Gary sings and he sounds amazing as always.... Actually, this is a plea from Cheryl to turn the auto-tune back on!! the lyrics say it all i think.....

As someone who has experience with music production, I can tell you that it is incredibly easy to make almost anyone sound good with a bit of studio magic. All the likes of Simon Cowell care about is good looks and image. People work with her because it boosts their image, and they know that the general public don't realise extent to which music is overproduced these days.
