It was clear that befriending a monster that didn't attack us at all was to good to be true ( but everything that happened between us and sheriff was just a misunderstanding and I'm sure we will make everything right at the end )

My theory is that when we go to syringeon’s room, we will see a blue remote with a square drone sensor, which causes us to get curious and get closer, but then, all of a sudden, again, like in chapter 4, we get knocked out by a mysterious entity, who drags us into the darkness, then, we wake up in a dark room, and then we look around, only to see bars at the right, panicking, we jump out of the chair and hold our hands into the bars, and we were looking for the remote, but we can’t find it, and then we turn around to the bars, and suddenly, we see the one and only, sheriff toadster, he says the following: that’s what you get for betraying me and the queen, I’ll try to go and catch the monsters and cure them, and I’ll get them to attack you, but first, i have to tell you something, since your kind threw me out like I was trash, and you betrayed us, I stole your remote control, now you can never have a little toy to accompany you, and help you do puzzles, and I also stole all your keycards, so you can’t open the doors, all the monsters are controlled by sir dadadoo and the naughty ones, and the queen died, all because of YOU! So, I’m going to keep you stuck in that jail cell, until I get the monsters back, and I’ll command them to kill you and your children, and now, you will stay cramped inside an inescapable prison cell, hopelessly crying in the corner, regretting the pain you brought to me and the queen and all the other monsters, loosing the hope to find your children, so, for now, goodbye, have a bad time in your prison cell. And then the sheriff angrily walks away, quietly whispering to himself: “I shouldn’t have to interrogate you and free you from the cell I freed you from…” leaving us trapped in a prison cell in a big dark place, that’s unknown how deep that place is. According to the game's story, Sheriff Toadster was used by the human staff since the beginning of the company as a security guard with the eagerness of catching anyone without authority who pretends to access on any area where he wanders on. But according to some notes about him, because of his behaviour and purpouse, management decided to neglect him, making the experiment fed up of them and the other monsters which he plans to betray and catch. On Chapter 4, although he belongs to the kindergarten's family, he betrayed five of them except the man, given that he trusts on Queen Bouncelia, in addition of BitterGiggle and Syringeon. On the middle, he accompained him on the first sector to find the first gear for the elevator, but the sheriff let all the job for him on his own with his courage. At the end, Sheriff Toadster could have protected the queen, but the jester and his dinosaur blacked him out until the hope for justice beings over. On Chapter 6, he gave the man a second chance as an ally to neutralize any possible threat, but things have changed when the jester trusted the human boy, the sheriff angered to both by betrayal. When a leech from The Naughty Ones kidnapped Banbaleena, he rushed desperately to find her. At the end, the sheriff hid next to Little Beak and Syringeon (who protects the scepter's part) so as not to be caught by Sir Dadadoo for his army. Although he's on our side, he put some paper sheets which he consider all the monsters as criminals.

Sheriff toadster was never used as a security guard by the company. They just created him as a childs attraction and he was never obedient because he thought everyone as a criminal except for the monsters. In chapter 4 he only imprisoned them because they were extremely hostile and out of control and he theorizes that something happened above. (Which was the ballpit crash according to chapter 2 notes)
