Garmin EPIX PRO || 7 Reasons why it’s awesome!

Спорт

It’s really hard to compete with a device like this. With many others, you are getting a lot of what makes this a fantastic piece of hardwear, but you miss the mark on some key areas. Mapping alone is worth the premium for many users. As of this upload date, they are on sale (at least in Canada and the US) which is a bonus. 👍
Thanks for watching, appreciate all of your support.

AW to Garmin to AWU to now back to Garmin. I have the Epix Gen 2 and I love it. I want the Epix Pro in white - 51mm! I love big chunky watches! I had the AWU and was always looking for a third party app to give me all of the data Garmin provides. Garmin has it all in one app! You can view texts messages on your watch just not reply, and Tbh, I never used my AWU to text. Always had my phone with me to do so. Both watches are great, it all depends on your preference!

I’m with you. Most devices have their good and bad, but I find this one ticks all the boxes (and I’ve had at least 10 watches over the last 3 years - all bought by me 😳). Only negative is the price but since they are on ‘sale’ now, it’s even more compelling. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Cheers!

Ended up scoring the standard 51mm for $649.99. I originally had a fenix 6x pro then upgraded to the non-pro EPIX last year. Didnt like the smaller 47mm size, so I gifted it to my mother. This is by far the best watch ive ever owned. Think im good for another 3-4 years 😁

I have this but in the 47 mm and I love it! I am a woman with small wrist and bad 50 year old eyes. The 42 mm was too small for my eyes and the 51 mm was too big for my wrist. The 47 mm was perfect. I have been running since I was 14 and didn’t buy my first gps watch until I was 40. This has been my favorite. I do have the Suunto Race and Vertical. Like them but the Garmin is just easier to use. Had the Apple Watch Ultra and that was a joke for battery life. I tried the Coros watches but the gps accuracy was not impressive and pace was laggy. Great review!

The flash light is super useful much more so than having to be carrying a phone. I got the watch for the other reasons and ended up enjoying the flashlight more than what I thought. The updates garmin has kept pushing make the watch even more valuable than when it launched. The only negative for me is that customer service now requires a service charge if your product is not under warranty.

I've helped a few friends convert from Apple watches to Garmins. All of them have been blown away by the Garmin watches and the features that are included. If you absolutely must have Siri, you should look at the Venu line. If a speaker and microphone is not a necessity for you, then you could use Garmin's watch picker to help you decide on a model. There are lots of options depending on what activities you like to do. You might not need all of the features of the Epix.

To design a round Smartwatch or smart Sportwatch makes no sense, or is there a round Smartphone on the market. The watches in the past were only round because of the two pointers, turning cyrclewise. The Garmin Epix or Fenix watches are too pulky, too big to sleep with it. Epix an Fenix watches have no cellular, this alone is for me a no go.
