Garlic Butter French Fries

These fries are golden and crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside and have been tossed through an incredibly indulgent garlic butter sauce and finished off with a sprinkling of parsley and pecorino romano. This is what dreams are made of. Find the full recipe on daenskitchen.com #shorts #frenchfries #chips

    ohh joshuaa.. olive oil it is not capable enough to be used in frying things.. bcz it cannot withstand the high boiling point and the only antioxidant it has got is POLYPHENOL and when oil is heated in order to fry things the polyphenol dies.. hence making oilve oil no use to be used in frying... hence olive oil is suggested on dressings of salad or raw consumption

    I’m a chef and many people will ALWAYS think it’s the oil. ITS NOT it’s the amount of fried foods you eat throughout the week. We do use fryers so it’s not unhealthy what makes it unhealthy is how much you consume without the week. Simple. Edit: I’m not saying “ oil is bad for you” BUT eating deep frying products everyday it can be. Thank you for the likes as well, I also apologize if this info comes off confusing. 🩷

    Btw, if you're making fries at home and only need one batch it's much easier and convenient to make fries by shallow frying starting by putting your cut potatoes and oil into a cold pan (you should still put more oil than you would use just to sautee, but they dont need to be completely submerged) I know this sounds insane, but the time the oil spends getting up to temperature cooks the inside of the fries, and then when they're ready for the "second fry" to get crispy it's right around the time that the oil gets hot enough for a nice golden brown. Also, since most of the oil absorbtion happens while they're sitting around waiting for the second fry they're noticeably less oily than traditionally double fried potatoes. Only takes about 15 minutes and I just kinda did it by feel for the first time the other day (literally zero numbers involved in any step) and it produced the best homemade fries I've ever had for very little effort The only drawbacks are that it's not practical for multiple batches or large batches as the amount you can make is limited by the size of your pan / amount of pans you have, and of course a pan that isn't nonstick will take more than sixty seconds to clean - it wasn't anything that a little bit of effort and normal scrubbers can't handle though. Nonstick can eat my ass and I will die on this hill 🤪 10/10 would recommend if you're just craving a quick batch of homeade fries, especially if you only need one or two people's worth of fries

    People who afraid of oil and butter are the ones that dont know what the word "moderation" means.

  • @SaintShion

    @SaintShion

    I eat in moderation, but everyones metabolism is different. I'd definitely wld gain weight eating 1 serving of this cause I have to watch what I eat, and I'd have to balance it by eating strict the rest of the day. Also, it's not only about fat, saturated fats, and polyfats; theres starch carbs and sodium. These all increase cholesterol can affect your heart, causing heart attacks or strokes and slowing your metabolism. The double frying was reasonable, but the butter finish would make this a once in a year treat for me, and that is why I dont eat out except for special occasions. Idc if she wants to post this. Im not a food Nazl, I just don't understand why people are pretending it's not that bad. That's why America, Britain, and Australia ended up with such overweight populations.
