In this travel vlog we are in Nairobi Kenya on the continent of Africa in 2021.

    It was completely worth it based on the taste and how filling it was. Plus we were super close to the National Park and the Bomas of Kenya. Thanks for the comment!

    Fun facts about Ian... he was born in Jamaica, he lived in South Africa for two years, AND... most exciting... during high school he lived in Gilroy California (self-proclaimed GARLIC CAPITOL OF THE WORLD). And the Gilroy Garlic fries are AMAZING!!!

    Ian's story is so fascinating! He's way more than a historian and world-class drone pilot. Will have to try the Gilroy fries when we are back in the states. These were great.

    So tasty! We were in an area with a few tourist attractions, so had to pay more for that. But it was worth it!

    Tip: Outside of the Park you can them for half the price. The Park is giving tourist prices. Not too far from there is the Galleria Mall in Karen. You'd get more food joints there with a variety of options.

    I thought the masala chips were sweet potato fries! But it was just the red masala sauce. haha

    Sweet potato fries are good too! Haven't seen any of those here yet.

    In Kenya sweet potatoes are boiled, they do not get as soggy as the American ones which are best baked or fried. It is not common to find fries made out them in Kenya.
