This was a delight to watch. Tony, your expertise is exceptional.
I'd love to know the difference between the clumpers and the runners. My natives come up in the center of a fern, hosta, etc and are impossible to get out. It's getting to me.
How do you fix them for food/medicine..
I'd love to know what that pretty yellow flowered plant is in the background at the start of the video. A goldenrod or ???

Lisa, the plant in the back ground is Baptisia sphaerocarpa 'Screamin' Yellow'.

Would you be able to help me identify a Solomons seal I found her on my new property yesterday while i was building a compost at the edge of the garden plot I'm planning if so where could I send a picture there is also an abundance of a false Solomons seal

You could try the iNaturalist app from National Geographic, it is very helpful at identifying not only plants, but insects and fungi as well. Or you could send the photo to our taxonomist Zac at plantdelights dot com
