We have to, the keyboard warriors always have their 2 cents to throw in haha

Grinder and paint makes me the welder i aint. Just lay a thick bead in a circular motion. Should become a rhythm. On those mig welders, turning up wire speed helps sometimes. Take a little bit to learn. Good luck! Nice video.

everyone who has welded has had a first time this is the kind of stuff you can practice on and it doesn't matter that much if it works great if it breaks do it again. part of the problem is it is a flux core welder.

Walking through my local Fleet Farm in summer 2021 they had a sign for an NOS Murray sleeve hitch $50, no box. It was back in their warehouse. I bought it and I’m saving it to adapt to one of my Toro 5xi tractors.

It was on a shelf for 20-25 years but all the paint looks fine like it was brand new.

You will learn but next time use a face shield when grinding it will save your eyes

Those brackets that you couldn’t get to line up you need to swap. The bent part in should stick out

Word of advice.. weld outside.. so you don’t burn the house down

Is it better to assemble the hitch on the tractor or put it together and then slip it on? My tractor is out of state, but the hitch just showed up in a box today.

Reverse your welder polarity.

With this welder you cannot reverse the polarity, I need a little more heat and faster wire speed

you're wire speed is too slow.. speed it up a bit and adjust your amp higher..

The only thing that got me fired up was you spent $200 on something that you had to modify. $200 you should have zero issues.
