I like the idea for this series. You have really made a good point about why we should invite others into our home. So many times we get caught up on making it perfect that we forget it's about fellowship and blessing eachother. In this day and age when it's no longer okay to be a Christian, I love that you stand strong in your faith and you don't apologize for it. Thanks for sharing.

I really loved this video and all the ideas. I love to entertain also and more now in spring and summer. I live in Los Angeles and I have a huge back yard. I recently bought an outdoor table for 10 and the idea of the herbs for center runner table it’s great! I will use it for sure and I also will be buying the Magnolia book. Thank you so much for this video series! I used your suggestions and decorated a table for my daughter's 16th bday and it was a hit! The grapefruit was so pretty tucked on between the kraft paper wrapped herbs. The girls kept smelling the mint and basil and loved it! After the dinner party I moved the plants to our outside table and continued to admire the prettiness for the rest of the week. Even snipping here and there to add to recipes. What a beautiful table, so many wonderful ideas. I just heard this tip from "Nesting with Grace" that I'll pass on, if you buy a 18x18 pillow cover you should stuff it with a 20x20 cushion, it makes the pillow look full and ultra luxurious! I thought that was an awesome tip I'd never heard before. I am wondering if it is only ladies going to your dinner party? I hate to say it but I couldn't feed men the menu you suggested, they would be going to a drive thru after dinner, not enough food at all, but maybe in Cali men eat light and healthy like that? Awesome video!

Someone this accomplished in event planning should know the proper placement for flatware. That being said, the color combination is beautiful and I love that budget is also considered when tablescaping.

I’ve been enjoying your flower arranging videos. Do you have tips for keeping arrangements fresh? In particular, how do you keep hydrangeas from drooping? How do you keep greens in wreaths and mantle displays from drying out? I know you didn’t use these in this video but didn’t know how to ask on old videos.
