I'm from Europe and whenever we have guests we use a table cloth. This is a more modern take on a table cloth. Very elegant and beautiful, creatively done.

This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. kzread.infoUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.

I was really pleased when the 'quality' disposable flatware came out. My husband and I use it primarily for poolside barbecuing (it's easier and lighter because we live three floors up and have to transport everything). But it feels more solid in one's hands and mouth than conventional plastic. It seems to be better at cutting and supporting thick foods, and the metallic colors are more aesthetically pleasing.

It's casual but elegant. I love it. The finger food in the middle is a new idea to me, but it would be hard to reach out the food and we can't ask people to pass around the nuts as its not the part of the meal. It's difficult.

Most of the available items are available in my kitchen. I super like the idea that I won't be buying much to style a dinner table without compromising elegance.

This is a lovely table, but I think the cheese board the centre of the table, whilst very attractive, is not very practical. If it's for guests to snack on when they walk in the door, as you say, they are reaching across the place settings. That's a bit awkward, could knock over a glass, drop crumbs on the plates and table, etc. If it's meant for during the dinner, then it's hard to pass and/or reach. It's a beautiful arrangement, but I would place it elsewhere in the room or house.

Amazon has some amazing stuff! In particular I like this set (featured in the video) which comes in several different colors: www.amazon.com/Sugar-Cloth-Disposable-Flatware-36-Piece/dp/B074GWYHJ2/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=sugar+%26+cloth&qid=1560891343&s=gateway&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&sr=8-5

I like having dinners, but no one cares about the table except for me. My friends and family don’t even WANT to use the cloth napkins… 😑 or even use the knives. The first thing I consider super important to own is ceramic plates and real flatware. I eat with a fork and knife. Do you know how hard it is to eat certain Mexican foods with plastic forks and knives…? I thought about it once, while trying to eat; Why not have real flatware for guests? And if possible, matching flatware? Flatware is so cheap, literally go to dollar tree or Walmart or restaurant supply stores, they are so cheap and reusable. Yeah, they are not the best quality, but do you know how much more comfortable it is to eat with?? Too many times, I’ve been served food on plastic Disney plates. Most people only seem to own a plate set for 4-6. when we go to dinner at peoples’ homes, the grown ups get the real plates. If we’re too many, some of us get disposable or plastic. I thought about this one at my in-laws… we are always invited over, so why not buy $1 ceramic plates for visitors?? Thanks to my moms bday, I owned 29 ceramic plates, 29 of each Fork knife spoon, 29 charger plates, and 29 glass cups. For $130+tax, I owned place settings to host up to 29 people, for whenever!! It’s been years and I always use them for guests. I usually get a “whats the occasion?” Comment. I respond with “I like to treat my guest right.” Honestly, just owning 12 white plates and cheap flatware, will make a huge difference! I have a box with all these extra “dinner party items” in the coat closet.

Even if it's a casual party, PLEASE IRON YOUR REMNANT FABRIC OR TABLECLOTH. Casual doesn't mean it's okay to look like you pulled it out of the hamper.
