When you mentioned your pretty top was J.Peterman, it made me think of Seinfeld comedy, and who Elaine worked for. I think. 😅. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Phoebe! What a lovely young lady… her knowledge is impressive. Those are the friends I want. 🥰
Phoebe is so smart and I love her ❤️
😂 Aw, Phoebe seems like such a little sweetheart.
Love Phoebe!
So good to see the fabulous Phoebe, and goodness Linda and Leah look so coordinated and cute!
My vote is the BLUE bottle. On a hot summer day, blue is a very cooling color, more so than the green.
Love the Minoan lace in full bloom. Lovely.
Hi, Linda. Thank you for your video. Have a good week and Happy Mother's day. ❤ 🎉.
The jade is magnificent. It'll love its new home, I'm certain.
Oh I have many Jade plants but have never valued them. Got them from pots from my mother’s garden when she passed. They seem to self seed or just take roots from broken off bits. My biggest one is about to bloom little pink flowers. I’m in Adelaide Australia and heading into winter. I better go out and love them a bit more 😊

I know right? I'm in Queensland and just about every house used to have jade plants I think. I have the small leaf one and another (several) with a larger leaf that gets small white flowers. Every leaf that drops, grows.
Wonderful video everyone! The jade looks beautiful in the great room! I have never considered a basket like the one you used as a planter before. It's so cool. Thank you for the new gardener tips. Deadheading the rose bush was exactly what I wanted to know 😊 Your friend Kristine
I love the blue bottle. Right away my eyes went to your beautiful mixing bowl wile you were holding the blue bottle. Love your animal print sweater. Leah your top does match the sun flowers perfectly ! Those jade plants were so beautiful, love the shape of the one you purchased !
Greetings, Linda, Stewart, Lea & Phoebe. Love all you guys. Linda, we are thrilled with your greatroom/outdoor. CALIFORNIA LIVING concept, so spectacular, colorful and vibrant. By the way, your jade plant will sprout pink and white flowers occasionally and you can propagate it by snipping off pieces and placing directly in soil. You can keep the propagated plant as large or small as you like by confining or expanding its space.
I love the idea of using the blue with the green….or the green with the blue. Perfect!

I was thinking the same thing, use both bottles with green or blue glassware.
Learn a lot from these two...
You look 👀 beautiful!! God blessed you and your program ❤!!
Buy a pot heavy enough to keep the plant upright. The plants are top heavy. I have a very large one in my greenhouse bay window that I put in a heavy glazed pot. In a year’s time it filled the entire bay window. It is a show stopper. Even in the winter it brings me joy. It flowered this winter in my zone 7. I kept the greenhouse my husband made me at 56- 60 degrees. My lemon, jade, hibiscus and olive tree loved the special house.
I really love jade plants and have many, thanks to someone my mom worked with when I was a child who gave her cuttings. Thankfully my dad got them going, and now that I own the house I grew up in I have a short hedge out in front and many in large planters in other places outdoors. When they bloom it's gorgeous and attracts bees, butterflies and hummers.

@@pamelabarker7259 I'm in Southern CA Zone 10 and I don't think it does well in cold climates, but it makes a good indoor plant.
I just love your outfit today. I love blouses like you are wearing! Great tour!
I love my local independent nurseries!
Happy Mother’s Day to u and all plant friends. I am getting surgery on May 9th. Going to watch yr vlogs from hospital unit post surgery. Looking forward to it.
Keep different colors of bottles to change up decor. Green is nice for spring, blue for summer and amber for autumn.
The window box looks totally FAB!!!!!!!
Love your coffee corner outfit those glasses are adorable 🥰
I love seeing Phoebe in your videos. Please do more with her. She is so knowledgeable.
Hi Linda Love the minoan lace plants ❤you have more of a profusion than at your former home. Everything has come back more gloriously. Well done for taking the risk 💯💞👏🌟
i love the green bottle, Linda. I'm growing lemon balm for my tea mix this summer!
Linda, I also have Jade plants. They flank my porch steps. I bring them in in the winter and they are no trouble at all in my garage. They get light from the windows there. I water them maybe two times during the winter as they don’t need much water. I live in Georgia. They look really pretty on my steps in the summertime because of the Chinese trim on my railings.
Please share with us where you got the beautiful baskets for your jade plants. Thank you!
Linda, more is more. I’d say go with both bottles. Deep blues and emerald or darker greens go beautifully . Just go crazy😅❤
I say use both blue and green bottles independent of each other, then you can have choices depending on the color scheme when you are putting them to use. Great video, thank you.
So glad you are safe from the storms. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones and material possessions too. My vote is for the blue bottle. Sorry about your eye infection, Linda. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery. Love Leah’s orange top. She is a sweetie. Your new jade plant is truly awesome. The basket is perfect. The Minoan Lacy is gorgeous. Gotta see if I can grow it here in Florida, zone 9b. I always enjoy your wonderful videos. You are an amazing lady!
Use both blue and green. Put water in one and tea in the other😊
Linda, I love your outfit! Those leopard boots are so gorgeous! I want to find a pair now. Such an Influencer you are LOL 😂 I have been pulling out so many of my feverfew plants as they’ve gone crazy and stand nearly 3 feet tall. As you said, too much isn’t a good thing, So I’m thinking of replacing it with Minoan Lace as it is so lovely to look at. Thanks for showing it off! Have a great weekend! Cheers!
Beautiful sunflowers. I perfer the green everbody is using blue.
All those jade leaves that are on the pot will grow. I can't believe how much the jade plants cost. I have several in pots and in the ground. They all came from a cutting I got from my aunt maybe 35 years ago. Hi from Queensland.
LOVE the blue bottle!! Maybe a little switchy is in order. Also, love your white poet shirt with those jeans & belt...styling!
Ohhh that jade is fabulous along your wall!
Go to blue if you like the wine. Lol That nursery is so fun. I love when you go there.🎉
The jade plant looks great
Go with both blue and green. Pull out the one that strikes your fancy that day😊
I like the blue pots
I would choose the blue bottle mainly because I like blue accents. Love to watch your channel land how wonderful to see unexpected visitors! 1:56
spring garden explosion!!!! love love love
The garden is looking amazing!
You are right!! The beautiful jade plant and basket goes beautifully with your great room!!!
Blue would be lovely for summer!
Linda…your videos are so inspirational and I love your style. My son in law’s family is from Norman, Oklahoma so I feel I can relate. As a person who works in the school and public libraries…I cringe when I see a book splayed open….I want to send you a bookmark virtually - as it is not earth shattering, your books will look better and last longer. Thanks for all you do
Great vid, and great questions ❤
Jade plants are tough. I found a piece of one in a trash pile over twenty years ago potted it up and it lives on my patio against the house year round in zone 9b N. California. It gets neglected now and then but so far doing well. It reminds me of like an Irish bulb, throw them away of dig them up and forget to replant, find them later plant them and they survive.
Hello Linda , I love the cobalt blue bottle, it would standout among all the greenery in your garden. ❤
like the blue
Just looking good Vater !
Oh, I wish I lived near you. My Jade here in my California garden is as tall as you. It grows so wide, so tall and so dense, that I have to break pieces off all the time, and throw them in the green waste bin. Definitely blue bottles, which are my favorite. I also have a color scheme that goes from my glass walled kitchen out to my garden. Its lime/moss greens and blues. I love the minoen lace . I can't find the seeds near me. Boy it looks like yours have just exploded! I am sooooo jealous!
I have two very small jade plants. A leaf fell off and I set it on a small wooden cutting board to heal off before planting. That was months ago and now not only has it put on a few roots but now it is putting on leaves! A tiny plant!!! That’s crazy right? Yours is gorgeous! 😎
I have most of those plants you saw in my garden they all would be great in your as well.
Bugambilia is more of a dry heat plant. Here in Mexico you see them in the Altiplano and desserts, not in humid states like in the Sureste
Blue!
Linda I love the Jade Plant! It looks beautiful where you have it placed. The animal print top matches your animal print boots. Hope your eye beautiful with the flowers and Summer look. gets better soon . Phoebe clothing goes
Love the video. Linda, do you still have the pretty jade on the table in the living room? The one you took cuttings of to root?
I bought a similar wine from Trader Joe’s just for the blue bottles. My mom has a bottle tree and blue is her color.
I would HAVE to have one of those jade plants at the nursery as well as the hibiscus & lollipop pine. I saw a lot there I would have broken the bank. 😁
I chose Blue
Blue The young woman at the nursery was knowledgeable and cute
well, now I want a jade!!
😅Jade plants are everywhere in LA!! My sister has one that's about 5 feet tall which came from one small cutting from my mom's jade plant.
Do you have a link to buy the Minnowan Lace Seed please?
Is minoen lace the same as orlaya? Love it in your garden with lime green ❤
Linda what is the name of the white flower that’s similar to queen Anne’s lace? Your garden is lovely!
I have heard you mention minoan lace for a long time -- didn't realize it was orlaya (or very similar) which many of the cut flower growers use.
You look so good today
Hi Linda, Is it possible to outfit Leah with a microphone when she is on camera? I can barely hear her soft-spoken voice when she shares your microphone. Thanks, Jane
Phoebe is an instant star .. watchout Leah 😊
Will you remove the jade plant to water it? And how often do you think it will need water? Thank you-
Minoan lace is orlaya? It seems to be exactly that. I love all the prairie umbellafors!
OMG Calvert’s! I just might have to drive the 6 hrs from my home to peruse that shop!! There are just so many places that Linda has visited there that I want to see myself 🤗
Great show can you please link your belts ??? Did you order them from Amazon??? Please please!!!!! Judy in pensacola fl
4:47 any specific pruning for hibiscus standards? Possible suckers at the base after dormancy?
Is Minoan Lace a wildflower? It looks exactly like something that comes up wild in my yard. It has a tap root, pretty fern like foliage and white flowers. I always try to pull it up before it blooms because of the stick-tight seeds.
❤
I've never liked jade plants. Guess it's because I see them everywhere
Green bottle plz..
How do you deal with insects when your windows are open?
Should you store Minoan lace seeds in the fridge until fall?
I would love to know where to purchase the belts. Darling. ❤

I found them on Amazon. 😊
both blue and green, why do you have to choose? You can have as many different flavors of tea as well!
Change to blue bottle.
Why not BOTH green and blue, depending on the flowers and/or dishes?
I think Stewart was flirting with phoebe.
What’s Up in Gardening at the Little Cottage on the Hill!!
Oh my gosh that garden my kids would say looks like our Baby boomer maximalism
Hi Linda, I am a gardener too. And I spend time under the sun. How do you protect your skin? If you're interested, I have a review on my channel on a sun protection item by Neutrogena.
Like always, I love your content. I notice that you are taking more and more breaks with longer commercials. So many distractions thats taking away from your content and making your videos too long. You are still one of my favorite KZreadrs
You definitley pull off Sexy in the garden!!!! lol I learn so much from your videos thank you!!
Ok,whaaat the dickens? Linda, you got baskets,I love those baskets. Why? Why is there nothing about you that gets me all crush worthy? You’re the loveliest 🥰🤣😊
