I could watch this all day, when I was a kid 20 years ago I used to help the garbage trucks for a couple of streets, every time the back was full one of them would lift me up so I could press the button and watch it all get crushed, I will never forget that. Great video.

Watching these open back trucks was always awesone. Now we just have the goofy trucks with front bucket sadly here.

Lol when I was a kid, I would spy on garbage trucks just to see shit getting crushed

In Europe, all electronic waste has to be sent to specialist recyclers as the circuitry contains heavy metals (cadmium, mercury) which are toxic.

There are regular electronics recycling drives around the area. They put up signs all over town about it and use it as a school fundraiser. We recently called a company to haul some away for us. We’re not total savages.

I worked 7 years off & on for my local garbage company & I seen some serious safety violations in this video. If I got caught doing some of the things here.... I been fired on the spot !! Just Saying

Camera is pretty shaky. Plus be sure to film the FULL compaction cycle, rather than cut part of it out. At the beginning you skipped a compaction cycle, that is frustrating to some of your viewers. In general pretty fascinating. I wonder what truck that is. It looks like a fairly recent model.

I watched the movie "Men at Work"-1990 staring Sheen and Esteves. My favorite parts in the movie is when they were slinging trash. I have been looking for rear loading garbage truck jobs but none advertise for help here in Chicago area. Probably can't take the pay-cut either ...under paid most laborers are in the USA.

Armada jakenson Yes that is all true. But this is not something you can accomplish yourself. You need at least one employee to control the trucks functions. This employee would not be absolved of criminal liability, therefore you are putting someone at risk! HOW CARELESS OF YOU!
