I was reading about how much pressure these things actually have. A modern US Nuclear Submarine can hit depths of a little over 2,000 ft before actually being crushed. The pressure a garage truck makes, you would need to travel about 5,500 ft down in the ocean to achieve the pressure a garbage truck makes. So, a garbage truck could theoretically crush a completely sealed modern US nuclear submarine.

I'm a trashman and alls I got to say is don't believe what you see.!! We tested a cobra magnum packer and we were not impressed! The bin latchs are weak and it does not pack well!! That's why we still use mcnielus packers. It shows it crushing a car but I garentee the packer is fully released or it would not be able to pull it in like that!!

I doubt the engine was in the car. You would need some insane force to flatten a car engine. A cardboard baler can't do it either.
