From start to finish.
time lapse
Hello and welcome to my DIY Channel here on KZread.
This Video is a time lapse of building our Garage Cabinet.
Cabinets shelves and doors are made out of 1/2 in SANDE plywood panels from Home Depot. Frame is built with 2x3x8 studs.
Doors and shelves got edging ironed on, primed and painted with 2 coats of BEHR cabinet paint in color UNDERSEA.
Total material costs was around $600.
Overall project duration from planning, CAD designing and finally building and putting everything together was approx. one week.

Very nice build. I might use this method to rebuild my garage cabinets. Also appreciate answering viewers questions. Very helpful for anyone doing their own cabinets.

This is great. Exactly what I was looking for. Can you pls tell me whether you used nails or screws to hold the wood studs together? What size? Is it also the same for plywoods?

Thanks. I plan all my projects by myself using SKETCHUP. Design with parts and cut list took me propably a few evenings. I would say 10 hours the most. Building and installing from start to finish was maybe 25 hours for me and 20 hours for my wife. We started on a Saturday and finished the following week Saturday. Panels were painted during the week after work.

Thanks. It's a Grizzly G0623X - 10" 5 HP Sliding Table Saw It's far from a professional sliding table saw but perfectly fine for my home projects. I have the single phase version with a 5hp motor. Price is around $5k. Plus another 1k for the dust collector with accessories. I believe that's the best sliding table saw you can get for this price. I'm very happy with it and would absolutely buy again. You can find it here: www.grizzly.com/products/grizzly-10-5-hp-sliding-table-saw/g0623x
