I dunno man. Farley going deep with "Lay off me I'm starving" with Sandler barely holding his shit has been one of the best moments for me. Farley steals almost every skit he is in. You can't stop watching him. I've used the line "Lay off me I'm starving" 100 times in the past 25 years!

and to this day every time i eat fries i say, "these are good!". almost nobody understands the reference, but it's for my own amusement.

peachy proncess, I don’t understand why you technically corrected his way of referencing a skit comment. I assume you don’t get it because you are from a different era or age group. Maybe, he does the same gesture as Chris Farley and as he is stuffing his face with fries, he gasps and blurts out “these are good!.....heh heh heh!” . I knew what he meant and probably a lot of goofs from the 80s and early 90s get it. You want to spout out correction to someone, then, start correcting people running this country (USA). Politicians to greedy corporations that feed on hard working Americans. Banks that control your future with their credit check and so on. People are starving in the streets while restaurants and grocery stores have to throw out their food. We have a lot problems to solve in this world and all you want to do is to correct a measly comment. I get it. You want tackle something that you can conquer easily, then tackle the hard stuff later. I wish you happiness and love and peace to your soul. Jesus!

It's a technique that beginner actors subconsciously implement for timing, pacing and also to assist in remembering lines...also he probably does it to prevent himself from breaking character (I can't imagine acting opposite of a dude like Chris Farley...that must've been a trip).

Farley nails it every time. How I miss his over reactions, he was a natural.

It's 2024, and this is by far one of my favorite Chris Farley skits!

This was the best cast of SNL in my opinion! This skit was hilarious! Adam's expressions! 🤣

I want to go back to the 90's so bad. I wish I had a time machine so I can go there and stay forever.

I grew up with this snl crew. I love it.

Classic ☺️ watched this live at age 14 and loved it every since. My go-to Farley joke "lay off me, I'm starving..." Too funny 😆

For about fifteen years after this aired, my uncle would randomly recite the "when they were handing out brains" bit, and we'd all reply "that doesn't even make ssssssans!"

Nothing will ever come close to this line up in this time period. The originals from the 70s and 80s maybe, but this was just on another level.

The look on all of their faces at 3:44 is just gold.

He was a loser. You're a real prize winner when, after spending years trying to become "bankable", you decide it's a good time to take drugs and die. John Belushi was another loser.
