Even though this fight and Lucina VS Silver weren't analysed or part of the bracket, it's still nice to see the intention of giving Ganondorf and Lucina an actual fight to showcase their skills and power in the first round (since both had gag matches with zero chance of losing).

Isabelle had to focus on running the town and the island, she didn’t have time to slaughter ganondorf. She could’ve done it instantly but travel expenses are insane and flight times are too long. SMH do your research before commenting something this stupid.

He was able to win a 7vs1 even without the Triforce of Power and just a Stone that enhances his Magic of Gloom and Miasma. Then Rauru pulled a Pussy Move to keep him there until Link arrives

Awww man this is so cool! I love the bond the four fighters have with each other, Lucario was a nice addition. I find it funny how Terry’s best insult he could think of is calling him a lump. Ganondorf is so menacing and strong I’d love to see this whole series, but I’m glad to have what we’ve got.

He canonically is really Powerful, he killed the Guardian Deity of the Forest in Ocarina of Time before he even got the Triforce of Power, he can summon fallen Demons back fron the dead - before he obtained the Triforce of Power, he is the Kratos of the Zelda Series basically, if not being capable of More even than just Godslaying.

Since Lucario was healing Ken afterwards (and since heal pulse doesn't work on a 'fainted' or presumably dead target), he SHOULD be fine. Hopefully...

This heavily depends on specific things like Ganondorfs Power and how he uses it and then comparing it to the respective Link. In Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf got a Secret Stone that increases his Elemental Magic. (Without one he already was a very impressive Warlock without a doubt, since with one he is actually capable of literally turning the World into Hell.) This Ganondorf got bested by Link's Skills Because unlike other incarnations he is still vulnerable to anything you throw at him (except Flames, Ice and Electricity, he is fully Elemental Resistant) If you compare him to Twilight Princess Ganondorf for example you clearly see some major differences. While Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf has superior Magic that his Predecessor didnt had, Twilight Princess Ganondorf was more enduring and more resistant to attacks. You can easily test it by using other weapons against Twilight Princess Ganondorf. If you use anything except the Master Sword theb the Weapons either have no collision or they do but he simply doesnt lose any Hitpoints at all (I literally shot 100 arrows at him and he still had no less ammount of HP) And this literal Infinite Durrability can only be avoided with Holy Weapons - which Link luckily seems to have everytime by aproaching with the Master Sword Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf can like. mentioned still be harmed with sticks and rocks and such stuff. So yes, Tears of the Kingdom Link is very destructive, bjt Twilight Princess Link just had the luck to have a Weapon that surpasses Ganon's Invincibility by using Holiness to destroy evil.

​​@@jacs515pr In Melee combat TotK Link would definitely have a lot of advantages for sure, but this Ganondorf can fly and get out of his Reach, which in this case is a Huge advantage for Ganondorf since OoT Ganondorf is like mentioned only vulnerable to Holy Weapons, meaning Link cannot simply Spam Bomb Arrows at him in Bullet Time, he has to either try it with Light Arrows, Anchient Arrows or maybe the Master Sword Beams to stun him (since all three are capable of harming Dark Beast Ganon in Breath of the wild, so I assume all three will have the same stunning Effect on OoT Ganondorf if they cannot harm him) and only then he can beat the shit out of him with the Master Sword or any other Weapon while he is stunned - since he already is weakened by Holy Power at this point.

So Terry and Ryu are both starting to tap into the Satsui No Hado, something that Terry shouldn't be able to do. Ganondorf must've really pissed him off. Well then again, Ken is laying there nearly dead in a pool of his own blood and he is friends with Terry so im not too surprised there.

@@benmcgrath8 well, that would make more sense, if Marth is captive somewhere in the Gerudo Dessert, he could probably break free to join the final fight (because let's admit it, Heroes scaling or not, there's no way the normal Gerudo guards could hold Marth down if he tries to break out)

I honestly don't think Lynels hold much against FE dragons like Medeus and Grima, if Ganondorf or the Gerudo took Marth's equipment away it could be tricky, but I don't think it will make much difference, Marth is still way faster and is no stranger to stealth missions Now, if Ganondorf left some Dungeon Bosses, they could probably hold him down for a while, but considering Marth will most likely prioritize getting Falchion and the Emblem back before trying to counterattack, I still think it won't be much issue

Ganon has the Triforce of Power which makes him Lorewise as powerful as 1/3 of tge Christian God's Power basically if he manages to get the full Potential of this Artifact. And he is also only vulnerable to holy weapons in most cases - the more holy, the more effective, meaning they cannot kill him, all they could do is at least physically Overpower him to hold him down and capture him and pray to their gods that he wont get free.

Actually no, Ganon having the Full Triforce means that he is lorewise Potentially Omnipotent, the only thing that can beat him in that state would be the Master Sword (since it is tempered with the Power of the same Allmighty Goddesses who left the Triforce behind) or Richter's Holy Spells like Hydro Storm and Grand Cross, since these are the Holy Powers of God himself With other words you cannot defeat Full Triforce Ganondorf unless you have somehow the aid of Allmighty Gods on your side or unless you are one yourself. Edit: and none on the Smash Bracket is Allmighty (Except Bowser with ths Dream Stone probably though its power source is mainly the energy it gets from Dreams while the Triforce itself is infinite Power already, so it might take a long time betwen them 🤷‍♂️) or has the aid of Allmighty Gods, unfortunally the Belmonts were slaughtered by Ike and Luigi and the only ones remaining with Aid of their Allmighity Gods are Link and Toon Link with the Master Sword.

With the Triforce of Power only he technically has also immense Potential since Din created all Matter in that Universe and so on from which the Earth also formed. But in Most cases he puts his power into infinite defense that basically can only be broken by Holy Weapons or Holy Powers, meaning you can either not kill him or not harm him in most cases unless your weapons are holy enough. (And no, not all kind of Magic is Holy, and not every kind of Light is Holy)

At least one Lucario is canonically known to be a telepath, to the point that it could have fluent conversation with humans in their language using its mind. Since the Lucario we play in Smash has voiced lines with no lip movements (just like Mewtwo), it's likely the same one.

Title's funny for a bunch of different reasons, but that fight, oooh, that fight...that ending was one heck of a gutpunch.

Lorewise probably not, Ganon is only weak to Holy Powers, the more holy, the more effective. The only ones except Link who would have a chance against Ganondorf are the Belmonts (Castlevania) since their magic and weapon arsenal is mainly made of Holy Weapons, with the most effective ones being Holy Book, Holy Water and the Cross (If you do the Item Crashes against the Bosses in the Games Richter appears in, you clearly know why: Jesus is literally OP against Demons)

@@Chris-gx1ei I think smash bracket takes Udon for Ryu, where he beats a literal embodiment of a concept that was essential for the creation of the multiverse. The mu-no-ken is the literal counterpart of the concept of evil in SF so maybe it would somewhat counter Ganon?

In theory to beat Ganon you might need to have enough holiness or evil repelling powers (or whatever you wanna call it) that would be equal to at least around 1/3 of the Power of God, so this might actually counter Ganon in theory. But this is only the case if Ganon is in his Default Power with *just* the Triforce-Piece of Power. If he has the Full Triforce he is truly Potentially Omnipotent, then the only ones I know who could theoretically beat him are Link and Simon & Richter could beat them. Simon and Richter Because the Belmont Clan is basically an entire Family Bloodline of Monster Hunters with Jesus on their Side (their Whips are more likely useless but they can use Hydro Storm and Grand Cross and similar against him) And Link because he has the Master Sword which is basically fueled with the Powers of the three Goddesses which left the Triforce behind, Therefore the Sword is in the first place immune to the Power of the Triforce, and it can also gain more strength through holy powers, like in Tears of the Kingdom where Zelda repaired it after it got corroded by Ganondorf's Gloom and now has a purified Blade that is immune to corrosive substances. Or like in A Link to the Past where it got Upgraded by a Great Fairy in the Golden Pyramid to deal 4 times as much damage and even harm a Full Triforce Ganon Theoretically Bowser could also fight him with the Dream Stone from Mario and Luigi Dream Team, but from what I know, the Dream Stone needs its power from the Dreams of others, meaning Bowser would need to take a power nap everytime the stone seems to lose its Power I guess, the Triforce itself has already unlimited Powers

Allow me to explain with my favorite example: Rei Ayanami, she at the end of Evangelion, after fusing with Lilith becomes a being that is described as omnipotent by a character, but she is seen as omnipotent for the power of the verse (where she surprasses everybody), but compared to other verses (where you must stick at feats and that things) she is planetary level, some good hax, ofc, but not "omnipotent", even Akuma stated that the concept that he embodied was absolute, but you can't use those kind of statements in versus. Howevery, i'm not truly in the mood to debate multiversal-level characters with tons of weird hax, that is always a headache haha.

It can Destroy itself, it can create another Version of itself, its power reaches even to other universes and so on. I know the Concept of Allmighty artifacts is a bit paradox in itself, but Infinite Power is the closest thing I can describe it, and the only way for infinite power to be countered you need also infinite power. The Triforce grands the one who Touched it first any wish for a life long until he dies ( or until he wishes that the Triforce stops serving him and fulfill the, wish of someone else) Ganon himself became completely invulnerable to anything, only the Master Sword was able to harm him, and even then it even needed to be upgraded for functioning better (The Regular Master Sword can only harm Ganon with spin attacks, the fully Upgraded Master Sword can harm him with regular swipes) and then unless the Triforce isnt currently limeted by itself or the Master Sword, Ganon has potentially control over anything.

Most don't seem to know that Ganon was canonically at some point an Allmighty Entity, Terry does need the Aid of the Christian God like the Belmonts or the Master Sword like most Links to beat him. Meaning even if he could solo the most, he is still not above or equal infinity

And the series has consistently been shown with respect during its characters' portrayals here, with only one gag-episode as a potential exception in the name of comedy. To be blunt, you may want to check your own personal bias there; Smash Bracket has no track record of 'making fun of Zelda'.

In that other (?) segment that has one episode only, you guess it: Ganondorf dying to Red because of course In DBX, Link was destroyed 3 times for no reason. In Death Battle, Link, Zelda and Ganondorf were all humiliated in fights they had no chance winning whatsoever/advantages In One Minute Melee, Link was destroyed by Sora In that cheap ass OMM replacement, Link was further vaporized Daitomachi, for no reason whatsoever, did a Link vs Cloud out of nowhere just to kill him Fuck, the sentiment even leaks into commissions. Skye T. and Brandon Yates feature Zelda themed fights which, again, have them losing EVERY DAMN MATCH
