I have a really small one on the underside of my foot. I got it when I was about 6. My doctor said I could get it removed but mine is painless and doesn’t affect my appearance so it’s stayed there for the last 23 years and hasn’t caused any problem

I had a cyst that kept coming back until I went on a hike and sprained my wrist backwards. It hasn’t come back and it’s been a couple years.

Does the fluid that was pushed out of the joint get replaced by the body? If I aspirate mine, I don't want too much fluid to leak from the stalk, causing an issue with the wrist joint.

It is already extra fluid. Wont matter if you aspirate it out.

I know this replie is late. But if you still didnt deal with it consult a doctor and try to figure what activity is cuasing it. And try to do that activity less. Or do it in a different way which cuases less stress on the joint

For those who have a bump on the back of the wrist, you may try the table edge method. First close the hand into a tight fist, bend the wrist to bulge the bump out, and quickly hit the bump against the table's edge several times until the bump is flatten or is no longer there. It is like doing kung-fu against the table's edge, but do not do it too hard. Good luck and I hope it will work for you.
