I had a pretty big ganglion cyst exactly where this demo is showing and got an aspiration. It’s been 7 years and it hasn’t grown back thankfully

Lucky you. I had done aspiration exactly 2 years ago, I was really happy that I was ganglion free all that time and it has just now grown again and it's really painful (probably near a vein). Need to get it done again. -_-

Just now seeing this for some reason but I'm so sorry to hear that - mine was causing a lot of discomfort at the time due to the size and how much it was pressing up against the joints and bones but definitely not painful imo. I would get that entire sac taken out if I were you. Errh... I guess it's been a year so hopefully you're cyst/pain free now!!

@@anasfahim2978 Exactly how this video shows - Through an aspiration/Big syringe pulling out the clear jelly like joint fluid. I probably have the sac in there still (unless it somehow disintegrated) but luckily the cyst hasn't come back or joint fluid hasn't refilled the sac in over 8 years now.

Over 40 years ago, after uselessly wearing a cast for 6 weeks, i read somewhere that a hard blow with a heavy book would disperse it. I forced my reluctant husband to smash my wrist with a huge heavy book. After I finished rolling about in agony, I saw that the ganglion had gone. A few days of wearing a crepe bandage, it had gone forever. I wouldn't recommend it though.

The old school way which is still highly effective to get rid of these cyst is to lay the hand and wrist flat on a table, Then wack it HARD a few times with a Bible or phone book. Hurt for a day but worked well.

I drained mine by myself about 10 years ago it came out like a slightly orange jelly substance. Fluid did build back up but its not even half the size it was so i just leave it alone as its not bothering me anymore
