@@Tim3.14 correct, Erebor was the destination of Thorin and Bilbo's company in The Hobbit
This makes my middle split stretches both more fun and much more painful because I can’t stop laughing 😆
And Stephen Colbert did not tackle Guy for mistakenly saying Gandalf the Grey died on mount Erebor? (It was on the Misty Mountains.)

@@abcedertreetooHe didn't die in the fall to the abyss. Both the books and the movies depict him pursuing the balrog after the fall, and climbing back to the top of Celebdil mountain, where he defenestrated the balrog first and died of exhaustion later.

@@renatal.129 Characters, not actors. The question was about Gandalf, not Ian. Aragorn is the descendant of Elendil the Tall, that Numenorean blood makes him super tall.
