Even though I'm not really in the market for small cubes, because a) big hands and b) I've never tried one and am satisfied with normal sized cubes, this is still a big win for small GAN cubes. Having a full GAN flagship that's smaller than their normal flagship is a huge win, it means that if you have the money, pretty much anyone can have that premium GAN experience without having to use a bigger cube than you'd want to.

Yay, as a fan of smaller cubes I can’t resist to get this one. Making a 53 mm cube is a smart move imo.

Very excited for this cube. I just wish they would release it with the soft finish. I have the 11 m pro with the soft finish and it feels amazing. Imo it gives great grip without feeling tacky/sticky like a glossy finish

Ive wondered for 2 years when are they gonna update the gan mini, smaller cubes are better imo.

Traded my moyu ai cube for a mini m with a guy in a fb group in the UK. So glad I did, its an awesome little cube! Using it as my main until GAN send out the next batch of i3 cubes, had one from the first batch and it died within two weeks 🙄 at least I'll have a peak s3r to play with while waiting for my replacement (other half has bought me it for Christmas 😎👍)

If they have a black internal, I would've bought it immediately. Right now, I'm waiting for the Gan 12. (I hope they don't discontinue black internals)

I want this cube, I've been enjoying the slightly smaller tengyun v2m and want to try something even smaller. I do wish they would not use the frosted finish though, it's my biggest issue with the 11m Pro I have.

Is the core smaller or is it the original core? I hope they made it smaller for full effect. The 354 used the same core as the 356 which to me felt like an incomplete product.

Is this Gan's flag ship of this year?

Hey Shawn, does the Gan 11 suffer some lock ups? Some cubers say that it is good but when you spam your tps and you made an error, thats where the lock up appears and its just hard to realign it again especially in a speed solve. Any thoughts about this?

No modern cube "suggests from lockups". The only reason a modern cube does that odd from an inaccurate turn.

The matte finish goes away after a hundred solves. The UV has had issues with the production from what I remember.

looks cool but im not gonna spend $50 on a 53mm cube when I don't even know if I will like the size. Most likely I won't because I already find 55.5mm a bit too small.

The 354 is a bit heavier and about 1mm larger. The 354 is also a little bit more flexible. The v1 of it did have glossy plastic.

I'm a bit bothered by uneven piece sizes. The centers look like regular 56mm cube centers, the edges are rectangular and the corners are tiny. It looks weird on the 354, but here it's just ridiculous. I also think the magnet rods are excessive. Just corner magnet adjustment is more than enough.
