The caliber 50 had the first magnetic motor in a cordless clipper. Same thin cutting blade and very Similiar sound. Gamma might have a tiny more crunch. But check that out I love it. They go for about 130$ don’t have the ergonomics but def a time premium clipper. Thanks for your review

Still a decent clipper to this day, has held its price well. Noticed late 2022 it went down to like $139. Almost snagged one. Black Friday is today so they down to $99. I snagged this over the JRL. Those were my two competitors. JRL has done very little discounting and they already two years old. Still $169, on Black Friday with 20% off still isn’t as good of a deal as the ergo+ for $99

Check out the .50 Cal by Caliber, the only other cordless magnetic clipper, a touch quieter but a bit heavier due to the double battery that lasts forever!

7:33 Wella Xpert HS71 has the leverer right at the pointing finger. (where tell in the video it should be). Ermila Motion is like the same machine as Wella Xpert. The way Gamma Ergo + is with Kiepe Fuel

I think Caliber .50 Cal had the cordless magnetic motor with 4 hr battery time first. If not first, definitely before Gamma. Caliber also had double magnetic guards before Gamma. Actually Gamma is kinda doing what Caliber already did. To the point that it almost looks like gamma and caliber are under the same umbrella company

Bro I began typing that and thought I’m Sure someone has already said this!!! Glad I looked!! And you are correct they were the first with this motor and guards and the battery life in the newer ones is 5 hours!! I’ve had the .50 cal for 2 years now bought the 1st version then the 3rd series and I love ‘em!! Thinking about trying these to see if they are as good as the .50 cals
