Remember in the Expanded Universe where Luke successfully created a new and somewhat reformed Jedi Order? Remember when Mara Jade was conflicted between her time with the Empire and her having to help Luke, the man who killed the Emperor...her boss? Remember when Han and Leia not only got married, had 3 kids, and stayed with each other through thick and thin and did not let their love fizzle out despite losing 2 of their children? Remember when we got one of the best villains ever through Grand Admiral Thrawn? Remember when Luke and his new Jedi Order helped the Republic stop a massive alien invasion from a different galaxy? Hell, this is only from after the Battle of Endor. I have not even gotten to some of the cool stuff from the Old Republic, Clone Wars, and even Legacy era. Sure, there was some pretty bad shit in the Expanded Universe, but there was far more good stuff that Disney just threw out.

You know, EA's decision to axe Visceral was like what would happen if you left your girlfriend with Ted Bundy. Don't come back unless you have a body bag and since EA is the serial killer of the gaming industry then they really need a padded cell.

I still enjoyed the force unleashed story more than this games, and honestly I liked starkiller as a character more than Iden.

I think their first priority was profit. It was also their 2nd and 3rd priorities. After the release it switched to trying to cover that up

5:36 in defense of that line, the Emperor usually resides on Coruscant. He was on the death star to oversee the completition, and as he's literally the most important VIP the imps have, it would make sense, had he been a normal, non-sith emperor, to evacuate him away from the DS once the shield went down, which would have given him time to get to safety. Truly, the only reason the emperor died was his own arrogance.

Riganthor it was actually a plan to seperate the imperials loyal to the citizens of the empire and imperials loyal to the emperor himself. By destroying vardos, it was revealed that Del and Iden doubted the emperor's rule but proves that Hask was loyal since he never questioned the destruction of vardos and went ahead with the rest of operation cinder.

Riganthor it was palpatine's plan to destory any imperials he deemed unworthy to survive, which included civilians. That's why only gleb was transported off vardos. The rest were left to die and gleb was one of the few selected who were worthy to be part of the first order.

Black Smith I know this video is a joke but I feel luke most of the serious sins are just from not really looking at anything. Like the sullustan one, if he played attention he would have realised he was talking to a half built astromech on a table. But most of the other sins I felt were what i didn't really like about the campaign either.

So let me get this straight. Instead of following in the footsteps of the last Battlefront II, which everyone loved, they decided to turn the entire campaign into a shitty redemption arc for a couple of Stormtroopers? WHY DOES DISNEY KEEP DENYING US A LEGITIMATE ARGUMENT FOR THE EMPIRE?! The great thing about Legends is that you could sympathize with the Empire, because it talked about all the good things the Empire did along with the bad stuff. But Disney insist on making it so that the Empire stay stereotypical bad guys. They can fuck right off.

When I first saw the scene with Luke saying "a chose to be better" I was hopeful it might be a game exploring beyond the traditional movie mythos of Star Wars, showing a group of ex-imperials making there own way in the world after the collapse. Having to come to terms all the bad the empire did and they did, but also in conflict with the rebels who killed their friends and destroyed their life. In the end they would help rebuild the Galaxy, not as the rebels or the empire, but as a new group with a identity that doesn't comfy to the standard light/dark. But nah, empire bad, rebels good.

Battlefront 2(2005) - no micro-transactions, no loot crates, an Imperial campaign which the POV character stays an Imperial, campaign extends across prequel and original trilogy eras, space battles, galactic conquest, all available hero and villain characters playable on all designated maps in Heroes mode without restriction for all players, all vehicles are fully playable, prequel and original era factions, extensive mods available on PC allpwing more factions, maps and gameplay options and variety. Did I miss anything? How did a game from 12 years ago do nearly everything if not everything better than it's own modern equivalent?

Heres how to make star wars battlefront 2 good Have the Empire attack naboo instead of vardos because that makes more sense. Have the Luke misson still happen because thats how he found the jedi temple and convince Del to join light instead of dark. Have Iden and Hask stay loyal to the empire but not Del he joins the rebels after the failed attack on naboo and he saw the evil of the empire. After the empire falls Iden and Hask helps with project resection and joins the first order

I just realized when the troopers shot Han he just put his hand over the spot for a little while and walked in off, but in clone wars in the first episode I believe, that one guy got shot and he could barely walk (Sorry that I forgot the names, it’s been a while since I’ve watched the show)

Sin 615 was honestly one of the most hilarious plot holes in the game. I laughed just as hard as you did when that awful dialogue came through 😂

Jorge Anta NOTHING. A few short trailers were shown but in between them we had very long developer discussions instead of at the end like most gaming shows do. It was also ninety minutes with at most 15-20 minutes of actual trailers. Most of those trailers were also ones that had been seen before and very little (if anything) was actually announced. Both the Game Awards and Capcom Cup of all things actually debuted more games and trailers together than PSX which just shouldn't happen at least for Sony games.

Their own VIDEO GAME CONFERENCE even if there wasn't going to be many reveals why give us less than thirty minutes of trailers in a ninety minute conference, and then make it a chore to get through for those who just want to see the trailers? The things they were discussing during the conference weren't even interesting, which made it worse. There was at least a reason to watch The Game Awards (2017) because there was both award ceremonies and new games being announced. Why watch a game conference if there isn't any new information about the games.

Aron The Terminator But it wasn't even a good conference is my problem. It didn't introduce much to us. It wasn't very informative. The pacing messed with the trailers. Even if they weren't going to show new stuf, how they went about giving us information wasn't palatable because it was repetitive in both content and execution: Trailer we've seen before > Boring developer conversation (that sometimes has only a nebulous connection to the actual game) > Trailer we might have seen before > ad infinitum.

Force Unleashed and Fallen Order are how you do great Star Wars games. I just wish we could get a great story based game where you play as either Empire or Rebel soldiers. Hell, I could write a better story with this idea! Follow the story of a rebel trooper, working to help take back his planet, and a stormtrooper trying to climb up the ranks over the course of many battles. As both stories go on, each main character getting allies, with the stories crossing over on certain moments.

I'm glad to see your back, I'm sad to see you haven't boosted EA's sin value by 500 more.

This is my first video I watched of you,and I already tell this channel will be fun!

People blame EA alone but Disney should also be bashed into hell by throwing the EU out and filling the gap with a putrid, blatant crap show. O wait, I should have foreseen this when I saw that Mickey Mouse Darth Vader at the first time..../sigh They could have just remastered the DOS game TIE Fighter with some gun-fight sessions added. That could have been far more acceptable. These days, all good franchises sucked into money monger company black holes to return as crap of crap without introducing any notable new franchise. I will be losing my cause to upgrade my gaming rig for next generation AAA games. Maybe that's why those computer part manufacturers are investing to crypto-currency garbages.

Totally agree the EU had such great stories and characters and now all we get are basic plot points and rehashes of the originals. And the only time Disney Star Wars is even decent is when they're using ideas used in the eu i.e. Thrawn

talezshin really man? If they didn’t throw EU out then only people who’ve read all the EU would understand the new Star Wars movies, so basically you’re subjecting everyone in a movie theater (except for maybe 1 or 2 who’ve read the EU) to not understanding anything what’s going on

11:27 The reason why the Emperor ordered that Operation: Cinder be used on loyal planets is that he saw that an empire that is unable to protect its emperor is not worthy to be an empire so at his death, he ordered the destruction of the Empire so it could be rebuilt into the First Order. But still, the fact that they didn't question the order and went along with it confuses me.

Operation cinder was actualy an attempt to kill the Lord of cinder from dark souls... XD How to make this game a cool empire game. Make the main character have her husband work on the death star 2 and she cries her guts out. Instant Rebels are the bad guys moment.

No. If you want to make the Empire good, you must make a script in which the Emperor, Vader or any grand admirals aren´t part of your story. Because those people make the Empire evil and the main character is forced to abandon the Empire.

Actually, Operation Cinder is an illusion from EA to distract you from the true plot of the EU. Palpatine has back up clones of himself should anything happen to his original body. The fact that he'd want the Empire destroyed after his death when he can transfer his spirit into a developing clone body is ludicrous.

Thats not the Emperor's shuttle crashed on Endor, its just a random Lamba-class transport. The Empire had loads of them. Thats why they were able to get past with the stolen one to get onto Endor in the first place. Also Fondor itself was not exactly a classified location. I dont think the Rebels were hitting it specifically for the satalites, they were just striking targets of oppertunity. And I think they changed Sullust's atmosphere along with most of the canon. Probably cause making Lando in a breathing mask would be too much trouble.
