4:56 those melusine icon popping off is the indication that you reach max bonus. If the sword doesn't have that effect then you still need to help some melusine.

i accidentally ran and completed with all stars abyss 9-11 with Gaming before realizing he had all level one talents lmao. he does really good damage even when (literally) not built heavily, and his playstyle is SO freaking fun. great character for sure!

Rainslasher and Mailed flower are actually his BIS f2p weapons! With benny he has enough atk, which also doesnt scale with xianyuns buff, and only needs EM for vaporize or melt

try this one and see if u like it... gaming, xianyun, furina, yelan em sands, beacon of the reed sea for gaming, if u can't balance crit stats, use redhorn stonethresher instead Elegy yelan Key of khaj nisut furina Hunter set for gaming, eosf for yelan, golden for furina, songs of days past for xianyun his damage at c6 with c2 xianyun can go upto 500k plunges you don't have to worry about circle impact too!! ;)

I think to handle the Xiangling stealing all vapes issue while also performing well and keeping it just 4 stars you could have slotted in Sucrose instead. She could have swirled Pyro to reduce resistance with VV, increased the teams EM, and helped group enemies so GaMing's plunge aoe could hit multiple enemies. Mono pyro, while it can be good for some pyro units, isn't always the best when you're looking for reactions on a specific character that ISN'T Xiangling

dont know if u say it later in vid but u actually use burst then u can spam e twice because the first reset even though iniciated thrugh burst, takes a while to take effect and works independet of the first e use

If you are kazuhaless like me a rlly good and fun melt team is gaming, Benny, rosaria, Layla. Rosaria just needs a little more cryo to work to Layla fills that while providing a shield. What’s awesome tho is if you time gamings normal attack right (with c6 Benny) then you can make Rosaria do the melts instead if u want. It’s kind of like the furina, diluc, Benny, kazuha team where you can make diluc or furina DPS just by switching the rotation

Thank you for the video, this is actually super helpful, because budget spenders may end up with only his C2 or a bit more, and may not have yet all the staple 4 stars constellations, so it is very relatable this way. Seeing how much fun you have definitely gives more hope. I have heard to not even consider building him if you don’t plan on C6 him, but when is that even gonna happen?? So having this input is quite helpful, THANKS!!

you can also lessen his skill cooldown duration during his burst as well! after a plunge the little lion guy jumps away, gaming’s skill becomes active again when they meet back up. running towards the lion allows gaming to pick him up faster :)

I like him with Beacon of the Reed Sea. Those stacking buffs slap.

The melusine claymore makes bubbling sounds on my headphones. And yeah I checked, it's maxed. I'm also using Crimson Witch, though cant get a sands that's half decent for the life of me. And I keep realizing I need Furina

I know everyone and their mom is adding Bennet to the mix because obvious atk buff but I've been having loads of fun using him as a driver for a hyperburgeon team. So, because he has fairly uneven pyro application compared to some other pyro 4* like Xiangling or Thoma it means that the Burgeon damage drops off sometimes, but using hyperbloom too just makes it so your damage ceiling never really drops as long as you keep up the rotation. In my case the team is Gaming/Furina/Shinobu/Nahida. It might be worth trying some reaction teams rather than just straight damage boost. :)

Ooh I should try that! I was using him on just normal burgeon for fun with Furina and Koko + Nahida (double hydro cuz I was afraid of burning). I'm just not sure if Kuki can offset Furina drain well enough

Also, regarding the weapon, you can just give it any character without talents, previously having captured the attack stat without artifacts nor weapon, and than look for how much the total attack increased. It should be Base attack + weapon attack. If you see the number bigger than base attack + weapon attack, it means you have the weapon's passive. You subtract Total attack - (base attack + weapon attack) divided by base attack. In this way you will see the % of the bonus given by the passive. It looks long, but it takes only a minute to do. P.S. Don't forget to strip off all the artifacts and make the character active (in the world), because the bonus won't add up if the char is in a pocket or not selected

Im sure its better to yse burst first and then wait right just before your lion pet comes back and use skull to plunge. So you catch him in air and already have another skill ready to go after when you get down but its better to repeat that until burst is about to end

I love Gaming so much! I prefarmed like hell for him, hoping to get lucky with constellations, but I could've never predicted that I got c5 Gaming (so I can c6 him with the selector) while getting 1 Xianyun, and a Jean to guarantee Kazuha for his rerun. I got 4 star luck the likes that I've never seen before, with multiple runs of 3 or more 4 stars in a row.

@@Kizakoe Hey, sometimes you gotta manufacture luck. This was a pity guaranteed Xianyun, then a pity 50/50 loss Jean. I got above average 4 star luck, but my 4 star luck previously was abysmal (like, bottom 31% unlucky according to paimon.moe). You'll have your moment I'm sure!!! Good luck

You should also level his normal attacks because the collision plunge multiplier scales off of that so its a big damage boost

I heard that if you haven't maxed out the Melusine Claymore, the Melusine icons won't be popping out of the swords. So, if you do see them Melusine stickers jumping out of the sword, then you've already maxed its potential.

With a C0 f2p build melt (against scara) I hit a 157k, it was in co op so no substantial buffs

Gaming skill doesn't need to hit a monster to do his plunging attack if you use it on a wall or a higher surface like a rock he will use his plunging attack

I recommend using his burst then skill and you can get 2 or more plunges consecutively

You should try doing a melt gaming build with support ganyu lol. I'm running her on 4 emblem and elegy, she lets gaming do more than a crowned furina with max stacks for me. My team is xianyun, ganyu, gaming, and bennett.

I haven’t pulled for a C6 4 star in a while but definitely did not regret pulling for him. Hopefully Hoyoverse keeps up the good 4 star releases

5:40 there's also a visual indicator that can tell if you have the max buff of the melusine sword, if you see the little stickers popping up effect - that means you are getting the max buff. side note, if you're using melusine sword, EM sands is almost always better unless you're using him on mono pyro or chevreuse teams.

@@Szczurzyslawa ahh, you don't need to do every quest, you just need to do 6 melusine related quests. Some long chained melusine related world quest can count as multiple world quests. (The one where you start the quest with the painter melusine for example "Ancient Colors" counts as multiple quests)

His numbers are phenomenal, especially at C6, wouldnt build him personally but he sets a really high bar for dps 4 stars going forward.

Btw Golden doesn't proc,his self infused plunges are scaling based on his skill stats but it's still counted as plunge dmg not skill dmg so the set doesn't proc. Similar to Xiao's burst plunges that scale on his plunge scalings,it's a skill/burst thing that scales on or is precieved by the game as another thing other than the skill/burst. Actually his NA is rlly damn good if played with Xianyun and Benny C6 because his self infused plunges are skill scaling based on his skill but his non skill plunges cause by Xianyun and infused by C6 Benny are NA scaled and in that combo upgrading his NA,Skill and Burst is kind of a must, so basically C6 Benny and Xianyun give him 100% uptime on plunging and literally turn him into pyro Xiao which i love and cannot wait to test out(sadly he sent Noelle to me 3 times instead of coming early but i will get him in the event).

I think he halfway knows. He mentioned being careful not to just use the weapons from the new area as xp, because he was warned there was a "new one" in there. There isn't, but that most likely was someone talking about the Black Iron Sword.

Keep note his skill is counted as plunge damage so anything that buffs skill damage is completely useless

With c6 bennett, Xuanyun and Furina I get well over 100k per plunge (sometimes i get 200k). C2 so not even the c3 increase (level 81 and talents 7,9,4). Going for c6 and will be tripple crowning but i think i will only be able to get c4 till banner ends 😢

But most of his damage come from his skill, his skill has a higher plunge multiplier than his Normal attacks
