There is an easter egg with the new area, towards the far northern area of Chenyu Vale, you can see a small beach with a gravestone, interact w/ it, and on a hill near it you have an option to 'feed', put some Raw Meats and a cutscene will occur. I will not spoil for you but you can get at least 8 Clearwater Jades!

Probably a bunch of people commented that already, but the hidden area is locked behind the main world quest of the new region, it's the quest that started the moment you teleport in Chengdu vale

a team that I've used with the weapon is Gaming. Furina and Charlotte with the Xianyun weapon. The attack% increases her healing for Furina fanfare stacks and give Gaming an extra buff for his plunge damage, and the energy recharge is good getting charlotte's burst up. and Gaming can vaporize off of Furina's hydro. massive cope build because i lost my nahida signature but it functions

If you hold Venti's E you get that wind current you can easily use to fly and plunge! So put Venti on the team and a catalyst that is a atk support, have them plunge using Venti and yeah get that buff!

I think Charlotte could use the massive base atk as well as the atk%, but i doubt the passive is useful for anyone besides xianyun

Oh it’s SO pretty, I’m a character designer and artist and I loveee the fan-like silhouette and it fits the region so well 🥰🥰🥰 heartbreaking that it’s not good for anyone bar Xianyun as I’m skipping her for Chiori and Arlecchino, some of my favourite designs in the game, and Chiori being responsible for Navia’s clothes????? NEED.

The most important question: do 2 crane weapons stack? Or would a catalyst only xianyun team with 4 cranes stack? Any whale who can test this?

Technically, if you use Xianyun with a catalyst support, you can equip them with this and then give Xianyun a crit scaling weapon, as long as the support gets one plunge attack, the effect will be activated Tho the only available support with such requirements is Charlotte

The only combination I can think off rigt now for "any" Catalyst user to use this would using "Gaming" as the means to deal Plunge Attacks on command, and during his Burst he'd return tons of Energy back to the Catalyst's user. Then again, could probably just use an ER Equipment setup and be more flexible. That's the reason I think her signature weapon is way to niche and even for her I don't think it's necessary. She gets a lot of Energy back herself, especially with C1. I'm playing her as DPS right now with Lost Prayers and don't feel like I'm missing anything.

Moglets did you know Heizou can Dragon (Plunge) Strike. Also, with Venti hold Skill and this can go on any support. I use Venti, Mona, Baizhu or other shielders.

What if you run two copies of Crane for the others who cant use it on a Xianyun team? Seeing as how the problem you stated was that they couldn't plunge on their own, would that potentially solve that issue?

Venti hold E can make other characters plunge more easily and it could be worth experimenting with.

wanna ask, the passive is separated or count as one? buff PA damage and ER

You could use it with Xiao and Charlotte with maybe Furina since Charlotte needs a lot of energy and usually needs Fav codex but with the extra energy from Xiao’s plunge maybe it’s enough? Idk that’s the only other person i could think of

Maybe use venti full charge E and do some plunges. Wriothesley could be use as the as the pasive trigger and dps

Klee Can Plunge it just requires collision with her jumpty or certain mobs.

I tried to get Ayaka’s and Nahida’s signature, and got Navia’s and Xianyun’s. Pain

The only two characters that can technically use it is Heizou and Wriothesley. Since they can do the thing everyone calls "Dragon Strike" On this case as i like to call it "Starfall" with their charged attack. Apart from that it's a stat stick for Charlotte.

you're forgetting someone, Venti to force plunge attack on everyone

for Xiao mains (who doesn't want Xianyun) this is a great weapon. my team is usually : [Xiao] - [Lisa] - [Faruzan] - [Baizhu]. put it on Lisa, and her Burst will be more consistent. plus the high Base ATK makes her burst hurt more.

Am I the only one who thought the weapon was like a crown(/tiara??) when the visuals were published? Ya like some of the artifacts crown pieces. I saw only noticed how flat it is after seeing it equipped

Its Dark Iron Sting i guess, you can have one copy in a chest when doing a world quest (i dont remember which one), so if you didnt throw away the one you get in liyue harbor, you can finally have r2 dark iron sting

That is a Mondo exclusive so better 100% all Mondo areas(including Dragonspine) or if you did already then wait for future Mondo areas added on like this was to Liyue. I too am one of them idiots who tought "chests in the whole game drop the same stuff,i'm bound to get those again" not knowing there are Liyue and Mondo exclusives -_- Thankfully now i have all Liyue ones R5 but i only have an R1 Otherwordly and no Traveler Handy sword or White Iron claymore. Safe to say i can't wait for future Mondo expansions =)))))))

Does every weapon need to work on multiple characters? For me the answer is no. If it's best in slot for a character I enjoy, I'm keeping it on them anyway.

To those wondering, i am sure that there are NO NEW 3* weapons in the chests, it's just that this new area is part of Liyue so it also drops Liyue exclusive 3* like White Tassel and such, so no brand new 3* weapons,just another chance to get the old ones that you probably like me(a total idiot) foddered back when you were early lvl and didn't know much about the game. So yeah if you know you foddered Liyue exclusive 3* weapons this area is your best bet on getting them,Chasm aswel drop them to those who didn't know. Luckly all i needed form Liyue was a single White Tassel to R5 my own,everything else exclusive to Liyue i had so now i cannot wait for Mondo new areas cuz those i foddered almost all of them and i am missing ALOT of them. So again NO NEW 3* weapons,just returning the chance to get old ones that alot of ppl foddered in the past then regretted it.

125-130 energy recharge u can definitely get away with mine has an attack time piece and some other artifacts have energy recharge for my weapon im using neuvillette weapon for the crit dmg

If only the trigger event for the buff was "using elemental skill" and not "hitting with plunge attack"... 😢 Imagine how good it would be for other characters

I'm not sure to be happy or not i accidentally pulled on the banner and lost 50/50 to dehya so i build pittt and got xianyun in 30 pulls i did 1 10 pull on the weapon banner and got her weapon... but i genuinly didn't want/mean to pull her 😭😭 Update i ended up doing another 10 pull on weapon cuz i wanted to get nahidas i ended up getting xianyungs weapon twice and now i had activated the path i had to go to hatd pitty just to get nahidas weapon(i still didn't want any of the weapon nor the charzcter but i have no primos for arlechino now 😭😭😭)

The weapon should just be 30 pulls like PGR tbh.... especially since most of the new 5* weapons aren't really good on other characters compared to the other older 5* weapons

I feel like for players who are AR 55+ their characters are able to clear most content without much difficulty so the value of ER and EM is falling off. None,there are no new 3* weapons,it's just that this new area is in Liyue so all chests can drop the Liyue exclusive 3* weapons like White Tassel, there have been no new 3* weapons added to the game, just a chance for ppl who foddered the Liyue exclusive ones in the past(like me) to get them again. I did hear that you can get a second copy of the Dark iron Sword, that unique 3* sword that you get from the vendor in Liyue but i'm not sure yet.
