Also dont see much mention of rubber grip on the controllers, which maybe you cover, but it often takes a while to come up in reviews, and many dont mention it at all. It seems plastic sand paper texture is the trend, which is disappointing.

Bro TY so much couldn’t figure out how to get past 500hz but this fixed it for me! Sitting at 1075hz with 107% stability, this man is the goat.

Did they fix the pc app? Because, I was stuck on older firmware with the tk4, with the app stating I was up to date even though the app was out of date itself 😢

I bought this and the Kaleid via The Controller Captain's reviews. I am not disappointed. The G7 works great, and does live up to the reviews. Thank you for the follow-up reviews, and your attention to detail.

I just bought a wired 8bit Do for half price at an Amazon liquidation store. I also have that gamepad controller (the one with about 20+ buttons. Variety, amiright? What is one of the best wireless Xbox type controllers that has the lowest input lag? I do like the G7 SE but I find the back buttons too easy to actuate accidentally and would really like to have a fast wireless Xbox controller.

@GamerHeavenOfficial I thought it was the g7 but my wife got me the g7 se. I noticed they removed the 1000hz setup from xbox. But if the ones who one the g7 or g7 se have a laptop/pc they can use the app on there plug in the controller then just unplug it and plug it into the xbox and it will be saved at 1000. Still thank you and I love the se, I'll probably get the g7 next too just to try them both 😆

Weird.. I’m on windows 10 and have 1000hz enabled. My results show under 1ms on xinput BUT my average ranges from 1.8 ms to 3.8 ms and polling rate ranges from 100-500. So am I actually getting under 1ms? Or is it just glitched?

Do u have Thunderobot G50S? It was latest upgrade version G50. That controller very cheap but have many functions. (almost every goodies). except trigger stopping.

I've had this controller since launch. I've an issue with the left stick. There's a big groove on the north side of the stick from rubbing against the friction rings

anyone feel like the joysticks are just a tad off? i feel like there may be a bit more tension or friction? i am coming from a power A fusion, which i liked, but they break down quick and feel cheap. Only reason i liked it was because there was less imput out of the box. it just felt more snappy. The G7 even on 1000 hz feels a bit less snappy and im trying to figure it out. not sure if the sticks are tighter bound and i just have to get used to it? overall, the buttons all feel amazing and even the size feels better in hand. any help on the sticks would be appreciated. thanks!

G7 SE owner, didnt like it at first because all my inputs wouldn’t register on my fps games. After a few updates it’s now my go to controller for my pc, now with 1000hz even better. I recommend!

@@mohammadosman1474 some inputs would register, like if you moving around and shooting, this was in my experience playing apex legends. It’s all good now though.

I bought this g7 special one, and what I want to know if we can add 2 extras paddles on the back 😢

I was getting constant double button presses on Xbox while using G7 with 1000hz. I reduced it to 500hz and the problem mostly disappeared, only occasional double press now. I hope that they can solve this issue later with software update.

I got this controller from the outstanding review just over a week ago. I have a problem on console using wireless headset and using 1000hz the headset becomes very distorted and sounds are ear deafening any ideas I tried 1000 and god damn it’s a beast so smooth 500 is good but 1000 makes the difference

@gamerheaven i bought two of these controllers. let me tell you this the 1000MHZ overclock gets you nothing but issues stay on a max of 500 the triggers dont fully zero on 1000 nor do the sticks and games get mis clicks allot stay on 500 and this controller is amazing 2ms speed at 1000 u get 0.5ms but what's the use

Picked one up and put the Gambit down. Only Con I’ve got is the lack of 4 back paddles. Everything else is on the tits. Hoping the “experimental” overclock will engage the headset port for audio. Thanks for your dedicated work

@@Don_Des the Gambit was and is a very very good controller albeit a budget one. The sticks and responses are fantastic. Though the backpedals are not as resilient as they should be. And for a controller that is half the price and with halo sticks and 1000hrz over clocking and performance. After owning it for some months I’ve got to say that I’m happy with my purchase.

I can't get the mic to work at all with this controller

Mine seems to be hard stuck on 500 hz unfortunately. I can select 1000hz but input test shows 500hz. Could be because im on windows 10. I've tried several methods of installing the script and still no luck.

Yes sir it’s because your OS is 10. 500 is still a good refresh rate

good vid, got one today as my oem xsx controller decided to go sayonarra, lets see how long this puupy lasts. if i can get atleast 1 year out of it then im happy.

I still don’t el geez why you don’t use gamepadla, not the polling tester, but the xinput one. This way you could submit to the database.

1000hz causes some stick drift on my end. Is it just me? (g7)

The g7 Se is my favorite controller that I own right now and I have had a ton of controllers over the years. The only thing I don't like about this controller is the back buttons tend to squeak after a bit. The first one I sent back for return was squeaking so loud I could hear it while I had my headset on but the second one, while it does squeak I can't hear it with the headset on so at least that is okay. I am glad I got this controller though I was torn on this one or the t4 kaleid but decided to get the SE cause its more like a normal controller with membrane buttons. I use the controller on 250hz for now, I did test the 500hz out which it was great. I went back to 250 though cause I didn't know if they were going to remove the option to OC it again. But it seems like its finally here to stay so I will probably switch to 1000hz at some point since I am a little sweaty gamer.

What’s the t4 is it for Xbox ?

So I have the T4K (Another One!) that I overclocked on pc for the 1000 hz. If I take it over to the Steam Deck then the polling rate is no longer unlocked and back to the 250 hz? Also, really like it, but the A button regularly sends two inputs for 1 press. That's a bummer.

The trick to fixing that X button bug is to switch over to Profile 2 and just set/treat it as your main Profile 1.

I've had a G7 SE (post update) and can comfortably say i really like this controller. Its lightweight and very comfortable. I dont however use the back buttons as I am stubborn to try and learn how NOT to leverage the controller in the area where those buttons sit (i accidentally press them all the time when unlocked im just not a fan) that being said I can confidently say this controller, thanks to the cable length, has fallen on the ground a couple times. One I had fell directly on the thumbs tick and killed the controller. Another one had a severed wire on the RT and killed the trigger. Essentially these things are cheap controllers but I think the hall effect module is especially light in its loafers and can break very easily. I dont know if thats poor design or cheaping out on parts, or if its just the nature of hall effect vs physical contact type touch points. My only qualms are the d-pad is spongey. Not a fan I wish it was an Xbox dish shape. And the 4-buttons aren't terrible but we all know we want microswitches. Last thing is the Xbox button. Idk if its the membrane but if I press it to quickly adjust volume on music, or ill jump into nexus quickly, or close certain applications, it will long press. Sending me to the ""What do you want to do?" Xbox power screen. Almost as if its sticking. This isn't a use thing. This is just the nature of the membrane I think. Id like a more positive press on the Xbox button cause it feels vague and unconvincing. Im pretty much guessing what the button requires for input

Weird I am on windows 11 when I set it to 500hz I only get 370-400hz and its the same when I set it to 1000hz. I do notice the input delay goes down in the polling rate checker though maybe I am not moving the stick fast enough?

The ps5 controller is less than 2ms latency way better than the Xbox controller just use it

I have a G7 that I swear by. I have the stock controller, the Elite 2 and a 3rd party modded back quad back button setup… thing. Above all those the G7 just feels right. I want to use it on my PS5, but haven’t been able to even with a Besavior controller. If anyone has any advice on how to get the G7 working on the PS5, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also I have a wireless headset with dongle so does it matter about the overock thing or am i alright with my headset

I've had this for PC for a a couple months. It has given me the option to change the polling rate since I first plugged it in. I just can't get the rumbles to work. They work when I change a profile on the fly, but not in-game or even in the software to test them.

i just received my g7 se today and installed the software per your overclocking tutorial to check the pull rate and both the 500hz setting and the 1000hz setting in the nexus app are putting me at a 500hz pull rate according to the Xinput application. any idea why i might not be getting the full 1000?

Hey man! I have the GameSir G7 SE and I use it on Xbox. I overclocked to 1000Hz on PC and ran the software and it's working perfectly there. But when I plug it into my Xbox I get the error: " Please use the PC to switch the report rate to 250Hz". The controller still works with this error, but I don't actually know if I'm getting 1000Hz. I only use it to play MLB the Show - and it's just very tough for me to tell if there's a difference between when it was set to 250Hz vs 1000Hz. Any suggestions for testing it on the Xbox?

Open your game with your g7, without your headset plugged in. Then, turn on one of your old series x controllers with the headset plugged in. Boom. Audio. You dont need to use copilot.

they said in discord that its a windows 10 driver issue. it was somewhat working before a update but it would bounce between 500-1000hz not stay at 1000hz so they disabled 1000hz for win10

Since the update its my new fav controller for xbox and pc

As a competitive rocket league player I switched to the g7 se and I absolutely love it. Actually just perfect for me

Purchased my SE the day after your first review, started using it maybe about a month later. Happy to share iam still using it today and performing as good as the first day. polling rate has nothing to do with fps it just measure the response time between button press and movement.

Do I need to set it up on my computer first for it to work on console or is it that these setting only work on console?

Thanks for all the help as always. Followed the video step by step and although my g7's polling rate has improved, I'm only getting a polling rate of 750-800 Hz and an input delay of 1.25 ms. I ordered a new one to see if this is a hardware issue. In case I am wrong. Any advice on how to fix this and hit 1000 Hz?

This polling rate is beneficial if your on a 1ms or slightly slower monitor but a standard Roku or tvs in the industry have 16 to 32ms latency anyways so you’ll kinda see a difference, but… it’s best on pc with a fast monitor. My solo kills in fortnight improved dramatically

i'm using 8bitdo UB (250hz with 2.4ghz dongle) and Gamesir T4K (wired 1000hz) and i dont feel the diffirence, the most reason for controller delay is fps ( refesh rate ) at 60fps u gonna feel your right stick delay much more than 120fps.

I just saw on Facebook marketplace that someone has an Alienware listed. Not sure if that’s you or not, thought I should give you a heads up. But At 7:59 I swapped the buttons and sticks from the Lunar Shift to my Robotic white.

Are there any controllers that can be overclocked on ps4/5 like this?

That 1000hz script actually worked on my gambit also, it’s showing 1000hz and getting less than a 1ms delay in xinput. I own the OG G7 and the T4 Kaleid they’re decent controllers i just don’t care for the loose stick tension compared to the gambit which has tighter stick.

what did i missed? I use win 10, got a kaleid (i mean... its kind of the same controller... right?) and i can "overclock" to 1000 Hz ... got kind ot 0.92 ms in xinput... BUT pollingrate around 218 Hz... ok - win 10 -> than i used 500 Hz in the software.... run again xinput and - 1.92 ms and again 218 Hz Polling rate ... what did i missed? i mean in your vid : polling rate is 1017 Hz ...

.... i just used x86 instead of x64 ... omg... stupido ... ok ... now i am on 0.96 ms average and 1040 Hz on windows ... 10! not 11 ... so it works on my kaleid (thanks for reviewing all the gamesir wonderboys! helped me get away from my elite 2 addiction... and yes it feels cheaper and everything... but the abxy buttons and the backbuttons... are really better for rocket league... i dont know why... thanks for the work... or is the 1040 Hz now fake? i mean... why shouldnt it work on win 10? i mean: it does.
