I remember going to a GamesDay event and there was a staffer dressed as a Guardsman carrying a medi-bag hanging around the Big Game section. When a model broke, one of the other staffers would yell 'MEDIC!' and the Guardsman would hurry over with his medi-bag, a kit of glues and implements of reconstruction.

For the first guy, highly recommended magnatizing your bases and transporting your models that way, it's so much easier and safer than foam trays imho.

Pick and pluck foam trays are generally pretty good because you can just rip out the foam in the shape of the models you need to store. Safe and Sound do some simple decent boxes for this. They're from Poland so should be easy for buying in the EU

Resin 3d prints can be VERY brittle if done with cheap resin. You need to specify to your vendor that you want them to be printed with FLEXIBLE ADDITIVE. I use Sirayatech Tenacious. You will need to pay a little more for this but I can tell you that cheap resin is almost worthless when it comes to models with gun barrels and swords.

It takes some real balls to badger other customers to buy stuff from a Warhammer store while you're getting to use the manager's 50% discount on the sly because you're mates and expect to not get caught in the end.

I switched to battlefoam with the Mag rag trays. Every base is magnetized and I haven't looked back. You hold more, the models don't move and you don't have to worry about breaking brittle parts.

Hard to beat battlefoam. They have some cheaper cardboard boxes or just pick up the foam trays and find a small/medium packing box that matches the size of the trays.

I got a 3rd party magnarack from Amazon, it's a bit on the pricy side however it comes with five 'baking trays' that slide in and out at adjustable heights. Its big, sturdy and I don't forsee ever needing another one. Can carry around my 40K Necrons and Old World WoC without issue.

What's all this? Why don't companies listen to the consumers

Nah they took bigger money from certain companies that have other interests. Fans are no longer needed, only consumers with no real ties to the business

Resin is more brittle than gw plastic and a bit of a cunt if it's a small bit like a sword handle or antenna, but if you have the right tools it's doable.

GW plastic is just basic polystyrene plastic, and is used by a lot of board game companies. The common sense is: if it's plastic, on sprues, and needs plastic glue, it's polystyrene. If it's plastic, not on sprues and comes preassembled or cast in one piece and needs super glue, it's injected resin, PVC or ABS plastic. Even polystyrene can easily break, if the parts are thin or very long. Example: the xenomorphs from Another Glorious Day in The Corps are notorious for having the tails snap in half during transportation or gameplay if not handled carefully. And there are several types of resin. The cheapest ones are probably the worse, but a mid tier one is quite solid, if you use the correct settings.

Tabletop Tyrant are good carrier cases or bags.

I bought some Mantic games models. Found an alternative to Warhammer 40K rules in the form of Firefight. I bought the starter set of Deadzone to give that skirmish game a go. The rules are easy to learn and not bloated like GW's games. A personal opinion but I've played Kill Team and Necromunda and find the rules a little cumbersome. Roll for attack, roll to damage, roll to save, roll the damage, etc... Firefight uses unit per unit activation per player instead of phases for player 1 then 2 like in Warhammer 40K.. Skirmish games like Necromunda go on for hours instead 1 hour to 1 1/2. Kill Team has only 4 rounds but seems that "overwatch" is a rule that is hated by the pure Necromunda players in our group. Wanted to collect a few units of several armies to have a go at Warhammer but I will opt for Fire fight and Deadzone with the GW models I have. I collect Leagues of Votann and I have some T'au, I buy them in my LGS to support them. Because they don't stock Mantic games products but only GW products and some other models like Star Wars miniatures and Marvel crisis protocol.

You threw me off today with your late release dood. I usually listen to your videos on my way to work but with the release coming a little bit later I was unable to and now I'm forced listening to it at lunch. 😜

You say "it's criminal" - it actually is. Fraud by false representation. Per sentencing guidelines it would probably be starting point 36 weeks custody (abuse of position of responsibility) as a minimum, but possibly more depending on the value of the theft.

I tried getting a discount at the local hobby shop cause our Warhammer store always tells us they never have any deals or promotions going on, but the local shop won't give discounts either lmao...
