Games We All Played As Kids...
Today we talk about the games we all played as kids such as hide and seek, dodge ball, hopscotch, etc. These games bring back so much nostalgia although I grew up in the 2000s which wasn't too long ago.

The place I grew up had essentially an extreme version of man hunt, we had private security that patrolled our neighborhood that were a part of our hoa fee and what kids would do is call security on themselves and the goal was don’t get caught by them

Here in Toronto Manhunt works differently. Its like Tag but once you get caught you become a seeker. Theres a lot more rules to the game but thats the basics.

The Cheese Touch was a bonding experience in my school. We all loved playing it, our teachers were cool with it, and it actually made class periods that were dull as brick fun. We all were so hooked on it we played it all the way to sixth grade.
I still remember when I played hide and seek with another kid at a fancy dinner party at a nice house with a huge garden. The game started outside, but the garden was so big that I could continuously switch hiding places without the seeker noticing. Eventually, I made my way inside, chilled in an empty bedroom for a while, and when I heard the other kid come inside, I went into a bathroom and hid in the shower. After searching for me for almost an hour, she finally pulled back the shower curtain and _screamed_ at the top of her lungs, causing several adults to come running. I didn’t jumpscare her or anything; she just freaked out for some reason. It was hilarious.
I will always have that sick dodgeball move i made in 6th grade in my heart.
Bro has a degree in speaking facts. Nice work 👍
Burdie is a W
I remember playing some games in gym back in elementary school called slaper ball, octopus tag, hoop tag, battleship, gaga, trash ball, pacman tag, dinosaur tag, and of course the games that required the scooters. Man those were such great times.
1:11 the only no-wi fi games i had was puzzle games
I love how Burdie keeps talking facts Keep up the work Burdie 👍

I could never figured out “Where’s My Water” when I was younger
According to what I've figured out, both Hide & Seek and Manhunt can be translated into "coo-hiding" in my native language, moral of the story, Swedish children hit their heads on a rock when naming games
Fun fact: Tag is the most played game in the world, and is even more played than Minecraft, heck they even do it on there.
Second time visiting this channel, so glad that it's growing.

🧀🤞 is so annoying bro like I’d be in the middle of class and I’d get in trouble because I got the 🧀🤞
I don’t know how I did it but somehow I became immune to the OK sign slap. At first I fell for it and got slapped every time but then I just developed some kind of reflex so that whenever I saw the OK sign close to me I would grab their hand in a special grip that causes you to feel a lot of pain and if you do it hard enough their whole arm would get physically hard to move. After a while people just started not using it on me. But then no one did it anymore until we got a new kid and at that point people had forgot about my secret grip and didn’t warn him. I managed to avoid him for the most part but then he did the OK trick on me right before a VERY important assignment and I did the grab and he was in pain and I could’ve ruined his whole assignment right then and there, but I let him go pretty quickly and without putting to much pressure on his hand. The guy ended up with an average grade and I just realized that if I had grabbed him harder and longer he would’ve failed the whole thing.

I remember being in high school, the maintenance people used some casters to move an elliptical machine in the cardio room and they had us put the casters back in the gym locker room storage afterwards. We rolled around on those things for at least half an hour, and it was fun as hell. I went to my next period half-dizzy, but damn was it worth it.

Me and my cousins still play some of my childhood games, for example we still play a game we made up called stick it in your shell. It's like dodgeball except no outs, and you say STICK IT IN YOUR SHELL! Before throwing the ball
Man I wish I could return to these days and I’m so happy I grew up socialising and going outside a lot and not on the iPad 24/7 like kids today
I miss all of these games that came out before the age of simply giving a kid a phone and calling it a childhood. These games were ELITE!

bro you do realize kids still do this at a school?
Burdie spittin the most relatable facts
Im still in 7th grade, and let me say kickball is the most clutch game ever. During recess, youd either have to hang out with the 3rd grade girls on the playground, or football with the 8th graders, and I dont even know how to play football. The only other thing is kickball with some other kids, and even though i suck at it, I play it anyway.
This is a great video, you should talk about Cool Math Games next

Fun fact: More like 80% of the world has played Uno or Monopoly more than twice in their life.
8:47 we do the same thing as one of the rules for everyday for dodge ball
I play a card game that is a fusion between Russian roulette and uno. It was called "exploding kittens" And the game gets stressful really quickly because you don't know where the exploding kitten is so you just have to take a chance when you draw but there were cards that could modify how the game went. There were skip cards that skipped your turn so you didn't have to draw. A attack card which forced the player after you to take 2 turns, there was a see the future card that let you see what the next 3 cards were in the deck, and there were much more but the way to win was to be the last person alive

Me and my freinds made up this game called volley dodge and each team had four players, one striker, one midfielder, one defender, and one keeeper. The goal was to hit a person or the wall for a point. It was so simple, yet so fun.

I used to play a lot of pretend games when I was younger, with my friends in the school playground. I still do with my younger brother sometimes.
Anyone remember the scooter game called Ghostbusters? Are used to play that back in my elementary school every single October and it was the absolute best.
Whenever I see a Minecraft foam sword it brings back so many memories 😖🥹😃⚔️
As a kid i played hero and villain so you (as a villain) have to run from the hero before it catches you and viseversa if you are hero
Just got my burdgang merch and it’s fire
Bro is bringing back soo many memories!!!
The cheese touch game always had that one kid “my toes are crossed 🤓🤓🤓” like no they arent
We use to play this game where two players had to hold hands (like a dap up) and play rock paper scissors. And the winner would slap the other player’s hand that’s held, the goal was to have your opponent tap out after hitting them so many times lol. Not sure why but there was a lot of pain related games for me growing up like scorpion or bloody knuckles 😅
I loved 4 Square, Kickball, Hide and Seek, scooters, Tag, Duck Duck Goose, and other games besides these.
I made up the cheese touch game before and it got popular by me,my whole school was playing the game until we go home.
games hit different during childhood

Hey burdie nice job making it to your 100th Video.
All of it is so nostalgic birdie brought my childhood back to lofe
Yo burdie, what do you use to animate? I feel like it’s anime studio pro.
I got an ad for oreo cakesters before this vid and got suprised when 0:57 mentioned them 😭
I feel like Brudie and I have such a simailer Childhood bc I love theses "Childhood' videos bc I remember doing those stuff during childhood
Oh god, I remember having a Steve head as a kid. I used to hang with my friends for the whole day while wearing it 😂
The cheese touch got popular at my school BECAUSE OF THE DISNEY VERSION OF THE FIRST DIARY OF A WIMPY KID MOVIE, thankfully, it got banned, BUT ONLY FOR THAT YEAR
Burdies videos a day keeps the depression away
At my school we had a game called armageddon and it was so much fun. So basically we had a bunch of people in the middle of the gym, they were holding balls to throw at you. That’s not it though. We had mats as well as nets, the nets marked the starting and end point and the mats were put upright to be shelters you can hide behind before running again. I was good at the running part, not so good at the throwing part. The people running also got to throw the balls back at the people in the centre to get them out and we were able to get our teammates back once we ran back and forth. So, I’d be the one getting our teammates back while someone with a good throw covered me. Outside of school we also had a game called bloody murder. This one you’d play at night. One person would be the murderer and everyone else would have to try not to get killed. We’d have a home base, which at my house was the trampoline. The murderer would go around, find peoples hiding spots and kill them. The only thing was, if someone else witnessed they’d yell bloody murder and everyone would have to run back to home base without getting caught. The first person to be caught would then be the murderer the next round.
For me cannonball was called unicorns butterflies and rainbows, we were butterflies, the basketballs/ Dodgeballs were butterflies, and the rainbows was the path to the bench
This video just brings back so much nostalgia
Nice vid dude
Burdie is super relateable
Played a few diff versions of manhunt, but both had area restrictions so you’d have to get creative
You built this ad into the video. The greatest thing in KZread you can do
Awww the Dragon City link actually works, I expected that I needed to pay for the stuff lol. But it's free and awesome, thanks ^-^
I hope you reach 1million subs one day :)
9:16 nah bro those scooters were OG! and if you had a scooter for each limb you be zooming around the gym like Sonic The Hedgehog. I will never forget those times.
