Games We All Played As Kids...
Today we talk about the games we all played as kids such as hide and seek, dodge ball, hopscotch, etc. These games bring back so much nostalgia although I grew up in the 2000s which wasn't too long ago.

The Cheese Touch was a bonding experience in my school. We all loved playing it, our teachers were cool with it, and it actually made class periods that were dull as brick fun. We all were so hooked on it we played it all the way to sixth grade.

I still remember when I played hide and seek with another kid at a fancy dinner party at a nice house with a huge garden. The game started outside, but the garden was so big that I could continuously switch hiding places without the seeker noticing. Eventually, I made my way inside, chilled in an empty bedroom for a while, and when I heard the other kid come inside, I went into a bathroom and hid in the shower. After searching for me for almost an hour, she finally pulled back the shower curtain and _screamed_ at the top of her lungs, causing several adults to come running. I didn’t jumpscare her or anything; she just freaked out for some reason. It was hilarious.

I don’t know how I did it but somehow I became immune to the OK sign slap. At first I fell for it and got slapped every time but then I just developed some kind of reflex so that whenever I saw the OK sign close to me I would grab their hand in a special grip that causes you to feel a lot of pain and if you do it hard enough their whole arm would get physically hard to move. After a while people just started not using it on me. But then no one did it anymore until we got a new kid and at that point people had forgot about my secret grip and didn’t warn him. I managed to avoid him for the most part but then he did the OK trick on me right before a VERY important assignment and I did the grab and he was in pain and I could’ve ruined his whole assignment right then and there, but I let him go pretty quickly and without putting to much pressure on his hand. The guy ended up with an average grade and I just realized that if I had grabbed him harder and longer he would’ve failed the whole thing.

During recess, youd either have to hang out with the 3rd grade girls on the playground, or football with the 8th graders, and I dont even know how to play football. The only other thing is kickball with some other kids, and even though i suck at it, I play it anyway.

I play a card game that is a fusion between Russian roulette and uno. It was called "exploding kittens" And the game gets stressful really quickly because you don't know where the exploding kitten is so you just have to take a chance when you draw but there were cards that could modify how the game went. There were skip cards that skipped your turn so you didn't have to draw. A attack card which forced the player after you to take 2 turns, there was a see the future card that let you see what the next 3 cards were in the deck, and there were much more but the way to win was to be the last person alive

And the winner would slap the other player’s hand that’s held, the goal was to have your opponent tap out after hitting them so many times lol. Not sure why but there was a lot of pain related games for me growing up like scorpion or bloody knuckles 😅

At my school we had a game called armageddon and it was so much fun. So basically we had a bunch of people in the middle of the gym, they were holding balls to throw at you. That’s not it though. We had mats as well as nets, the nets marked the starting and end point and the mats were put upright to be shelters you can hide behind before running again. I was good at the running part, not so good at the throwing part. The people running also got to throw the balls back at the people in the centre to get them out and we were able to get our teammates back once we ran back and forth. So, I’d be the one getting our teammates back while someone with a good throw covered me. Outside of school we also had a game called bloody murder. This one you’d play at night. One person would be the murderer and everyone else would have to try not to get killed. We’d have a home base, which at my house was the trampoline. The murderer would go around, find peoples hiding spots and kill them. The only thing was, if someone else witnessed they’d yell bloody murder and everyone would have to run back to home base without getting caught. The first person to be caught would then be the murderer the next round.
