Studio lights can be VERY hot. Can't say if millionaire had that issue but I remember working a local talk show for a year and inside the studio, it would get notoriously "stuffy".

I can honestly say if Pamela remained the host on Canadian Millionaire someone might have eventually slugged her. BTW, today someone uploaded the women's pilot of M'ama Non M'ama hosted by Alex Trebek on KZread. We game show fans know what future Games O' Canada entry that it would later become...

@@marcpower4167 I'm amazed she pulled that stunt again after his reaction. Some people like Bob Barker and Geoff Edwards were masters of drawing out tension without you wanting to kill them. Obviously Pam wasn't.

​@@Quartzquiz333It is pretty similar to how Chris Tarrant handled some top tier questions in the UK, he drew out David Edwards 1m win just like this. Admittedly it wasn't exactly universally beloved in the UK but I think the sthichk maybe worked better in UK TV culture.

This has potential for Canada if the host didn’t talk on and on got to the point it might of worked there’s other countries that still have millionaire like the Uk and Australia even though it’s in hot seat mode we had our first winner of that format back in 2017 the old format of millionaire in Australia 2 I wonder would millionaire in Canada work now since the US version is canceled love your games of Canada Marc thank you 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

And the US version is back on. And it's back to the OG 1999 times we all loved... Millionaire is back to its rightful place as a great quiz show.

Why is audio and camera quality so bad? Looks like something out of 2009

Limited budget, plus i'm cursed with a quiet voice, trust me, i amplified it several times in editing.

@@Latiman94 it's all good. My awesome friend gave me a new hd web cam for christmas, that and me slowly learning more editing techniques and etc. Things will look much better in 2020.

Another case of good show, crappy host. The game was still the same and great, but Pamela Wallin was no Regis Philbin, Meredith Vieira and most certainly not Chris Tarrant.

There were better host choices for sure. Monty Hall or Jim Perry would be wishful thinking. Knowing how Canadian networks want to cheapen out, they'd take someone in the news business and try them out. Johnathan Torrens or Peter Mansbridge perhaps. I'd pick Al Dubois, Alan Thicke or Howie Mandel if any of the 3 were available.

I read something on a fan page that i can no longer find online making an argument for William Shatner. Might have worked, sure he wasnt great on show me the money but maybe he could have been better with a more serious show.

Good Show. Crappy Host. Pamela Wallin was not a solid choice and OMG that showed.

British version with Chris tarrent and jearmy clarkson is superior

Would Pamela have worked with the U.S. version? I mean, Howie Mandel did the Canadian AND American versions, even if he's Canadian himself.
