And it looks odd when he does since he looks like a singular entity to people that don't know he bonds to a host. So between that and the deep voice it is SUPER easy to tell he is speaking. It's crazy when you look at this and see how Venom is received. We've seen him many times in comics, TV, videos games, and he's coming back to theaters. Yet we still go nuts over him here. A legend is a legend, and Venom certainly qualifies. (Also, hell yeah! We're getting Kraven too!)

i'm still confused why so many of them were surprised. like, the last game showed him? there were 2 blatant "hints" in the last game, green goblin (the mask, and bombs), and venom (the symbiote is on Harry in the end scenes.)

@@jordantalbot6344 tbh, I'm just bad at remembering Marvel bad guys half the time, plus voices for characters change, depending on the VA and such. I've watched Spider-Man cartoons too. When it comes to mainly Spider-Man villians, Kraven and Sandman (for example) always get forgotten for me. Hell, I blanked on Green Goblin when watching the new Spider-Man movie trailer because media, outside hardcore fans, don't talk about him much. Everyone has different search areas when it comes to games, books/comics/manga and movies/shows. No real need to trash anyone about it.

I think everyone forgot, which really sucks I never let it slip my mind for even a second when I saw it for the first time, because goddammit Venom is my favourite Spider-Man villain/Marvel anti hero

What I really enjoy about the most recent collection of Spider-Man games is the collaboration of Peter Parker's Spider-Man and Miles Morales' Spider-Man. In most of the comics, Miles didn't really get any face to face time with Peter, he simply picked up the torch. Seeing them team together, I genuinely feel, is a true testament to both Spider-Men not taking the lime light from the other, they both are just great at being Spider-Man. They pair so well together. Like they are brothers. I almost imagine the Scarlet Spider and Spider-Man relationship being like this to a certain degree. I really like the mentorship and camaraderie between the two of them. They make the perfect team against team Venom.

@@justincummings8557 yep yep. it's only after into the spiderverse that anyone gave a shit about "token spider-man", because that's all he was for the longest time. now they are fleshing out his character, making him into his own thing, and people are actually liking him. i still don't. before he was literally just token spider-man, which is boring. and now he's just not my type of spider-man. can appreciate the fact that they are fleshing him out though.

I sure hope so. Unless some stupid game that appeals to little children end up becoming the most popular and winning “game of the year” *cough* *cough* Fortnite

I wasn’t surprised that the villain was Venom, in the end of both 2 last spider man games, in the end it shows that venom/harry is being contained. But apart from that, I was really excited when I saw venom.

I cringed when I saw people saying "Electro" or "Taskmaster" when it's obviously goddamn Kraven

Especially since both Electro and Taskmaster had appeared in the first game (of course I suppose some people might not have gotten to Taskmaster since they may not have done his challenges, I did all the challenges and quite enjoyed the Taskmaster fights)

So many people just ignored Kraven's existence

I don’t think many people were too familiar with Kraven’s character especially considering he hasn’t gotten a movie yet (can’t wait til the actual movie drops)

Hmm. Interesting how Venom answered Kraven. It's like a three way fight. You and miles VS. Venom VS. Kraven sorta thing? I dunno, either way. This is awsome :).

I definitely felt the same emotion as that guy who started crying

Watching these reactions, the most interesting one to me, is seeing how people can go havoc just by seeing the title, and specially, how a game developer can reach a state, that by showing their name, people are explode, while they don't even know what are they making. It's amazing. No film makers can reach that state. Like CD Projekt Red, before Cyberpunk, or Remedy etc.

I like how they showed the Insomniac logo followed by the MARVEL logo for for the Wolverine trailer, making eveybody think it's Spiderman, yet for the Spiderman trailer they didn't show it, making everybody think it's Infamous

I'd lo e it if Venome was played like a stealth-horror mob. He's obviously a bruiser, but it's often overlooked that he can turn invisible, knows Spiderman's identity, and doesn't rrigger his Spider-Sense. I'd love Venom to be a horror element that scares the crap out of you, and they've definately got the right voice actor for it.

@@DVZ244 I know, the Spiderman 3 one had lots of abilities and was cool but I just thought they could do better. And the one in TASM2 was very simple to beat and you could tell his intentions from the beginning

I’m hoping to see Villains that we didn’t see from the first game to make an appearance. I personally wanna see Mysterio after seeing what the MCU did with Mysterio’s illusions, I can’t wait to see what a video game can do with illusion cinematics.

That Venom reveal when I saw it made me 12 again that YES WE WILL was one of the best teasers I’ve seen in a while.

Another infamous would be amazing, I loved the first 2 games, not so much second son or first light but that was because I didn’t like delsin’s or fetch’s characterisation, the whole angsty, cocky, rebellious teen thing was a little irritating. Would like to see Cole return and when you have a story dealing with super powered people it’s not hard to find a way to bring back Someone from the dead. But after all this time since the last instalment it seems unlikely, still we can hope.
