She is actualy pretty hard on recommended level i would say but mostly everyone faces her overleveled because you can do so many areas before her.

I love how Connor kept trying to dodge roll attacks you can literally out pace by walking and the guy after him said "wtf is that" whilst holding the very weapon you get from that boss that Rennala summoned

Didn't think she was that easy. I played a magic build when I encountered her and had quite some trouble. Easiest by far I would say was Rykard.

I was an int build and then swapped to faith before getting to her to use winged scythe and some incantations. Respeced back to int after lol

Fun fact: she is actually hard if you choose faith as your first playthrough because you don't have anything to kill her with.

You can just kill that wandering knight at east liurnia(or however you spell it) for some sweet dragon cult spells. You could also use some keys at one of the fog walls in stormveil to get black flame. I'd argue that wizards have a more rough time since I assume that she has a great resistance to magic damage.

I fully was building int and then added 34 faith to use dragon incan from siofras and the winged scythe lol black flame from stormveil also was pretty useful

I just went ham with my winged scythe + 6. Got her on first try. The crucible knight was 100x harder.

This boss gave me such much trouble… and then I used the wolf ashes of war and she died so easily. If you’re stuck on this then I’d suggest upgrading your wolf ashes to +2 or 3, the wolves will stagger her most of the time

I was stuck on this boss for a long time I almost quit the game lol. My weapons do very little damage and gets one shotted all the time lol I just persevered nonetheless. I’ll be considering using my wolves next time leveling my weapons and increasing my hp

How it feels to fight a wizard. She's got ranged spells, melee spells, summons, and a strange amount of maneuverability. Great boss with an annoying gimmick to start

I wouldn't say she's the easiest boss. As others have stated, we're normally over leveled by the time we get to her. But she's harder to face for sorcerers, as many many find her a brick wall due to her high magic defense and attack at that point, and anyone who has high physical attack is going to deal much more damage to her, especially over leveled as we tend to be. I was strength/faith at that point, so she wasn't much of a challenge for me. She was on the easier end, but I'd say that there were definitely easier bosses in the game than her.

Aesthetically my favorite boss fight

I gotta say, not only is Rennala the easiest, she’s also the prettiest. Makes my character wanna marry this Moon Mommy. Also, “Thy fate lieth under my moon.” I’m certain there’s a facesitting joke in there somewhere, but I’m not gonna make it lol ALSO also, first guy literally forgot that, on the left from the elevator up to the boss, is a shortcut he COULD HAVE taken, so as to not waste time.

This 'easiest' boss is also my favorite. Man i wanted to join the Carian Royals after her bossfight. Became some sort of Star Knight.

The thing about rennala ,she's the easiest main boss in the game yet she's the most annoying one...but she's seriously hot thu..

It depends on your build tho. For a pure mage, Radahn or Godrick is the easiest

Tonight, I learned that I hate watching streamers play Elden Ring. 90% of them just complain and make excuses for how it's the game's fault that they suck at it.

Easiest boss?! This was the boss that legitimately made me almost quit the game!

She’s easy if you go to Caelid first or explore Liurnia thoroughly first, because you’ll be overleved enough to stagger-lock her to death and survive everything she throws at you. If you go to her straight after Godrick (like I did first playthrough) and without looking up how to improve your build, she’s REALLY hard since spells will OHKO and you’ll do no damage.

I did this fight even before godrick as a pure sorcerer, underleveled, lvl 1 wolves and with heavy load like i was going mental all those running to get to boss...

The theme, having to kill the students, this hit hard

Almost everyone dodges AWAY from projectiles and die and get triggered. 25:42 only this guy knows how to dodge projectiles, that is PERPENDICULAR to the direction

Watching cdawgva play Elden Ring is painful.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve laughed as hard as I did at Gab getting conditioned by Deacons of the Deep and the Witch of Hemwick into thinking Phase 1 was the whole fight…real swerving hours

The number of times that I killed her at the same time she killed me and I had to fight her again was obscene

The pain at 6:00 I feel that

First guy got vigor checked hard

i did godskin duo 1st try and this took me many tries lol.

First phase is super easy but man is it annoying having to restart every time

Not just that, but I’m fairly certain he didn’t even grab the Green Turtle Talisman after beating the Limgrave Tibia Mariner. And he’s using a Greatsword he nabbed from Caelid, for God’s sakes! Dude’s doing EVERYTHING bass-ackwards!

Again a boss meant for summons, hard without them and easy with them. The Kaiden Sellsword or fanged imp ashes (both obtained in Liurnia) obliterate her in the second phase.

they were just bad at dodging in general, the guy who took her down fast had decent dodge skills. Her many magic abilities require different dodge timings, that is all there is to a 1v1 against her hehe

She really summoned a dragon for me and previously the bloodhound 💀 why .....

Souls games bossfights' difficulty are relative, always depend on your build focus. That's why people struggle more in some "easy" bosses, then they beat first try some of the considered harder bosses.

She's actually easy because all of her attacks are easy to dodge. You don't even need to use timing. Just positioning.
