As a Japanese person, I have to say, his pronunciation is spot on. Breathy is the right word, he adds a lot of air to his voice in the beginning. Japanese is the original language, but he sang this song in Chinese first, Autumn Strong/Late Autumn. Different lyrics but the same melody. This is version from the Singer 2017 episode 3, his first time singing in Chinese, and the vid has Eng subs kzread.info/dash/bejne/faGdlMWPmc3KfdI.html Koji Tamaki is the original singer and composer, there is a live version where he sings both Japanese and Chinese lyrics, which Dimash has been doing when he sings the song, which is amazing as both languages are not his native tongue.

Спасибо, что отреагировали, и хочу ещё сказать, если Димаш поёт кавер на какую-нибудь песню, она звучит как его собственная, хотя все знают кто их пел раньше. Просто он делает по своему, и это изумительно, он сейчас старые песни, которые мы нехотелибы слушать, меняет , делает арвнжировку новую , и мы слушаем их, как новый хит. Нынешнее поколение нестало бы слушать песню "Любовь уставших лебедей" с другим исполнителем, но эту песню воспринял весь МИР сейчас в его исполнении. Алла Борисовна Пугачева её по своему отлично спела, но Димаш изменил аранжировку (и спел по своему),и это песня благодаря ему стала известна по всему миру. И это радует. Спасибо.

Koyi Tamaki, reconoció la excelente interpretación de Dimash, de hecho Nuestro kasajo canta Ikanide y Aumnton Strong, la misma versión, pero en chino en sus recitales. Lionel Richie ( Hello)y Vitas ( Ópera 2) no permiten que Dimash canten sus versiones. Yes, this was live streamed to the Tokyo Jazz Festival, from Dimash's studio because of the pandemic. You mentioned Dimash is also a musician, have you watched "River of Love" ? There is another song called autumn strong which has the same melody but slightly different lyrics and is in mandarin.Dimash sang that back in 2017. At his Dubai concert, he sang autumn strong for half and then switched to Ikenaide which is in Japanese. Perfect choice as it gives each of us, which one we prefer. At his next European concert after Dubai he asked the audience whether they wanted the mandarin or Japanese version. Amazing.

Saying goodbye to his friends and love ones and knowing that she will not see them again, must have been very emotional and heartbreaking. It was the live performance in studio for that Tokio Jazz Festival due to the COVID. You were right! What impresses me in this song is his deep concentration, and dedication to the performance despite being alone in the studio with the musicians and the camera but no audience. Such a concentration at the beginning and the humming at the end is, only for that part, a piece of art in itself. He comes from a very high note, a long silence and the the humming in perfect pitch several octaves down, marking the moment where the strings have to start! A genius! WOW! ❤ from Spain 🇪🇸
