Great video. I wanted to ask how often do you get new equipment? Do you just continusly wash the equipment for the players? I am pretty sure the Jerseys are new every game.

They wash them the only reason they’d get a New Jersey is if the old was in bad condition like ripped fading colors etc

Basketball guys have it easy. No equipment. Hockey and football have to be the hardest followed by baseball.

That's gotta be a better and easier job for equipment people for basketball then all the other sports. Hockey, football too much clothes for the other sports

after watching a few of these videos from a couple of different teams' staff I came to the conclusion that the whole league has a comms problem. Why don't these guys have maps of all arenas' visiting locker rooms to have a plan on how to organize the team seating, why do they have to spend so much time to bring "equipment" from one city to another, they all use pretty much the same things, have them ready for them. All teams have to play each other same number of games. Why they have to bring balls? The league uses the same balls for all teams. Why you gotta bring a bag full of tape? Bring your team's colour tape, they got white and off white and black at the other arena. They shouldn't have to bring towels, unless they want team logos on them. They could simplify the travel so much by having a conversation with other teams' staff and coming up with a plan. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems a little dysfunctional.

All these locker room guys just care about is getting game used uniforms, gym shoes and tickets. The smart ones keep it low key until season end. My buddy was an assistant , years ago in the 80's ,to the GM of an MLB team. He was able to get loads of free game used bats etc. Crazy!!!!!
