What a dope job lol. That’s awesome. Especially how all the players and umps respect him. I play baseball for 17 years and never realized how involved these guys actually are. I like the relationship they have with the ump.

So cool to see this. I've always wondered what a Bat Boy did as well. Honestly, it's amazing to see Colin give away so many souvenirs to the kids. With one simple gesture like that, you could literally be changing their lives and possibly inspire one of them to become a professional baseball player down the line. Great stuff. Thank you for sharing!

I wish baseball (and other professional sports for that matter) highlighted the work of the crew more like this. It really shows the passion and how much work goes into MLB teams.

I like how you take care of the fans because everyday except for the season ticket holders it's a new group of fans and the kids might never get a chance to interact with a ballplayer, but they will remember that they got a ball at the game.

What a great hustler! Thanks for doing an awesome job to help everyone have their best game possible.

This is awesome. Dude could easily be the director of gameday operations on the collegiate level just from watching how he multitasks. Love seeing people work hard and appreciate the position they're in.

Not being a baseball person I actually had no idea that there was a bat boy but This is so great, he really takes pride in his work and is humble and the guys and officials all treat him just like he’s one of them , great to see . Also how much stuff this guy has to remember , it’s crazy

These videos are awesome! I've been to ton of games during the 2022 season, and He was a class act every time. On more than 1 time he came over and made sure my daughter got a used game ball! I enjoyed your video. In college I was a manager for the football team. I might not have been a player, but I was treated as part of the team. Traveling with the team, being in the locker room, being on the field and just talking with the players because they are friends. It is fun being that close to the players and you have each other's backs. Great video. Brings back memories.

Absolutely fantastic! I started out being extremely envious, just imagining being surrounded with the Sox for my JOB. Working at Fenway! On the team, but not a player. I'm getting chills thinking about it. Then....it went on and on and on with all the crap he has to take care of, and I was immediately more realistic that I really don't want to work that damn hard. Looks like he does a hell of a job with it too. Good luck to him.

I NEVER knew who the bat boy was for my favorite baseball team now I know! I learned a lot just by watching this clip this guy does alot! I never knew what all a bat boy does that's a lot of responsibility. I love it! It also brings joy to my soul to see the love that this guy gets from the players and everyone that's apart of the Boston Red Sox including the umps pretty awesome! #BostonStrong⚾️

I did this for 4 years with the New Orleans Zephyrs former Triple A affiliate of the Astros and Nats during that time. I loved it. My last game was two days before Hurricane Katrina made landfall

I was a Batboy myself for the Asheville Tourist back in 1992. Loved it. Best job I have ever had.

This just got recommended to me and I am loving it. I know this season the league is auditing bat boys and girls, to make sure they're quick and keep up with the pace of play. I know this guy won't have any problems securing his job!

In 1958 and 59 I was bat boy for the Washington senators. My duties were to keep lemons and oranges sliced and in the water bucket, that there were at least 4 ladles for the players to drink from (pre OSHA) and keeping Beeman's gum on the end of the bench. I also took care of the catchers mask and wiped the caked tobacco spit off the leather guard (I think that's why I developed a dislike for tobacco) . I did get to have one of the best seats for the games! And then they went to be the Twins.

Takes me back when I was a ball boy for the Salt lake Bees triple A team, used to loved the dinner and game itself definitely do not miss cleaning and scrubbing shoes after a rainy game.
