Listen - let me begin by saying SELL THE TEAM. But real talk. They’re only like a game or 2 away from being a wildcard team. They’re gonna get Casas back - who was one of the better 2nd half hitters in the league last year. Wilyer is back. Liam Hendricks should be joining the bullpen by August. I’m just saying… unbelievably there is a path to the playoffs for this team and it isn’t exactly an impossible feat.

Red Sox biggest issue this year is inconsistency on offense. A problem that can be solved with experience, I believe, since they have so many young players on the team. Injuries have cost them some of that veteran leadership for a part of the season so far, but next year I don't think it'll matter. Next year I can see these young players finding their grooves and staying consistent on offense. Their offense is either really good or stagnant.

@jason Wrong,Biggest issue is they can't f'N field the ball..THE most errors in all of baseball, they're professional players?, throw the leather like you belong there..their lack of fielding discipline will cost them a playoff spot..if I was cora I would give these overpriced bums 2 hours of fielding practice after every game for every error..and run them for every base running gaffe too

They do and it's mainly because their offense is so inexperienced overall. They have had to rely on first or second year players to solidify the offense around Devers. Next year I can see this team being a contender easily as long as they keep this core of young players together. Which happens to be the same core that got built up over the last 4 off-seasons while many fans complained about the moves they were making. This is a solid foundation for something great
