The Gamechanger Plasma Coil is a whole new exploration of analog, high voltage distortion with help from Jack White and Third Man Records. Like the Plasma Pedal, this special edition pedal converts your guitar signal into 1000s of volts, and these bursts of energy are discharged into a Xenon gas filled tube. The natural noise gate effect of this brilliant design can be seen, as this lightning in a bottle literally breaks the circuit when you stop playing. The final process involves the energy being transmitted and reformed back into audio signal, where it finds itself with a much wider bandwidth, controlled by the Low and High EQ and unique harmonic distortion controlled by the Voltage knob. Where the Plasma Coil differs, is a mode switch allowing sub and upper harmonics or both in the spirit of Jack White’s unmistakable guitar tone. Whether it’s glitchy, sub-octave riffs or piercing octave up and ring mod effects, the Plasma Coil creates these sounds in a completely analog state. The momentary or latching footswtich on the right expands your creativity with the pedal by allowing octave bursts or rhythm and lead tones with a single step.

This company has re-written the book on pissed off fuzz. Well done!
More impressed with that red Epiphone at the start! Tasty lookin' guitar.

Thanks man! Yeah, I didn't think it would be clear enough for slide but it surprised me. Love the octave sounds for bass too!
My mom yelling all the way from 1983: “TURN DOWN THAT RACKET!” Me: “Noice.”
Just when I can't love Andy more he plays slide like that through a lightning ball.
Imagine putting drums, voice, synths or whole mixes through this 🤯 Looks incredible for rhythmic crunchy effects, playing with the oscillation and what not ...
Just subscribed Andy. I can’t believe how long I’ve been watching your demos. Here’s to many more years
You should win an award for putting that pedal through its paces the way you did!❤ I was getting the hang of it but this makes it much more useful knowing the details of the inner workings how they sound with knowing when they're set that way! You took away a lot of my trial and error and added much more musicality! THX!🎉

Jack is a carpenter, does upholstery and has build guitars and cabs. It's hard to deny that he popularized the high gain fuzz tone in pop music and he's pushed some boundaries in pop music all together. I'm not going to say he's like a Steve Vai or Stevie Ray Vaughan but he definitely has a feel for making weird things work.

Pretty cool actually. Awesome playing, one of the best pedal demos I've ever seen.
I have to disagree with everyone saying it isn't worth $350. Here's why: It's a fuzz + an overdrive + a 2 sub & 1 up Octaver . . . this is 3 pedals in 1 and it would take 3 one-trick pedals to recreate this sound.

Andy, I just gotta say your playing is great! Thanks!
The guitar is one infinite learning curve. This pedal is another. This equals too much fun.
Too many of us guitarists are suffering from Pedalmania. !!! There is apparently no known cure. !!!! Great video Great pedal !!!
Amazing playing Andy! 😊 Cool pedal!
Wow, both the pedals he has been involved with look very usable and super fun.
