I still can’t belive no one knows that Matpat is making more lore ever so slightly. In the timestamp 1:50 when Matpat says Film Theory, the screen glitches and it says “Who’s that?” In another video in Film theory, “The Devil made you do it!” Mapat says, “Who do you think we are? Game Theory?” You ARE game thory, Matpat. And once again, the screen glitches. The same thing happens on Film Theory: Wait… Dragons are real?!” My theory is that all the channels are from different universes. Mentioning them causing the world to glitch out because they don’t exist here, but they exist there. This universe, Earth, has all of the channels. This means we can see all of the videos despite them glitching. Even though sometimes it dosen’t glitch but they still mention it as an entire different channel with a different person using it. That can be seen in Film Theory’s video about the movie Sonic 2. But hey, thats just a theory. A CHANNEL THEOR- More recent news says that the screen actually shows the last part of the wheel, blue. A hint for style theory.

I think it’s pretty obvious, the seeker is the imp themselves but because they destroyed the emergency meeting button, nobody can shoot them out of the air lock, so the imp isn’t afraid to be themselves around other crewmates thus the seeker.

If the normal Impostor had the same abilities as the Seeker, then calling any sort of meeting would be suicide because the Impostor would just kill them all immediately while they're all in one place, button or no button (pretty sure they call through a megaphone to announce Dead Body Reported, no button required). It's probably safer to assume that the normal Impostor is more physically weak, so much so that two Crewmates are more than capable of overpowering one Impostor, a weakness the Seeker clearly does not have. Also the normal Impostor can use vents, the Seeker cannot. ETA: ISTR that the official lore on standard Impostors is that they sneakily killed the Crewmate that matched their color and replaced them; while the Seeker, if the trailer and in-game animation are anything to go by, was a normal Crewmate that got infected with something.

I kinda went with this kinda idea I primarily play gray under the gimmick “follower” I would pick a person a follow them till a meeting is called then at the beginning give a report then ask who to follow next The idea is because gray is usually associated with robots so I do more robot like things like prioritize fixing things that can kill crewmates ignoring lights and stopping when communication is disabled It’s fun

Another thing I think is important to mention is that when you are chosen as imposter, it shows up red, while crewmate shows up blue. So naturally red is already associated with imposter and blue is associated with crewmate

I Love the Minions gag throughout the video

I will say this: the advice in these videos on Among Us have been really useful in playing the game both as an Impostor and as a Crewmate.

Also think about any video game where allies are blue dots on the map, and enemies are red.

you can actually see a spoiler for style theory when the film theory symbol gliches out to show a blue color and a text saying ¨Who's that¨ in 1:52 i am always on guard when i watch theory videos so these kind of things never pass me by and that's how i predicted style theory's color.

black is a great color to pick if youre playing with a friend group and in that friend group you are usually the quiet one but also the one that when events need to get planned or stuff needs to get done are the one to organize it so everything falls into place, staying quiet wont be out of character for you but when you do need to talk and you take a more commanding position ppl will believe you because thats just you

I had a friend who would ALWAYS play blue and was almost always impostor. He'd gain everyone's trust, including mine, by being funny in the chat, and offering to follow other crewmates to "make sure they're safe"

There's also the fact that in most games red is usually the enemy color and blue is your companion's color.

What if you're someone like me who uses white and cyan? are they closer to the new colors or not? They both existed sense day one and are used in the art. Although cyan is the color associated with crewmates, white is virtually everywhere.

Yellow is also a cautionary color: it’s used in yield signs, yellow stop lights to slow down in traffic and, more infamously, as hazmat suits and radioactive symbols
