after checking other videos, I noticed that majority of devices that uses sd870 could not play this game smoothly and people will not believe that I am using the same chipset. so i dug up some info on my device and found out that it is indeed an sd870 that runs on max speed (3.19 ghz as seen on my WZM test video) and to compensate for that, lenovo made a specialized cooling system to compensate for the heating cauaed by it running full speed. Most 870 devices are locked at lower speeds to prevent overheating. Device is a Lenovo Legion Y700 (2022) 8GB ram

@@Riju i heard pad 5 & 6 has a function to lower the speeds to less than 1ghz when it senses high temps. I think best way to play it is on medium resolution without fsr and everything on medium to high.

even tho i have one plus nord 3 with dimensity 9000 chip i usually play on low to keep my hands from burning and also get consistent frames.

Same here, I play on Xiaomi Pad 6 and from what I know SD870 even if it's an old chip shouldn't struggle this much with the game. But when I play it seems my device is having a hard time to load the graphics and texture just a few steps away from my character, like I can literally see the grass and objects loading as I walk.

@@rurikko I had that bug too for a bit. but after the recent patch, the game runs so much smoother now. The settings I recommend is all high then turn brightness lower and set resolution to medium. Also a good idea to set fps to 45 only.

Well I guess it is a tablet? I have usually seen tablets with same chipset performing better. I think it has something to do with better heat dissipation. Same was the case with ipad mini 6 it ran genshin pretty smoothly whereas iphones struggled with the same chipset.

yes its a tab. and yep you are right about the heat dissipation. The Y700 i use has that feature.

I believe it might be the game's optimization per device. but I did a quick check on other videos that uses sd870 and saw that they were unplayable too on max graphics.

yep , i got a realme gt neo 3t and its unplayable, even genshin is unplayable since android 14 update, on android 13 i could play on max graphics

Turn off anti aliasing and the game become more fluide and more beautiful

that sure another way but please do be careful and use any cooling method available cuz ive seen people doing it for warzone mobile and end up with a faulty device afterwards.

Well to be honest bro I was able to run this game much smoother than the one your showing in the video but with a cost 😢. I'm using Poco F4 8/256gb, Custom Rom (Non rooted): PaperOS v3.5(Update 3), Custom Kernel:Nova Kernel(latest version), Thermal Profile: SD870thermalgaming_v1.0 (twrp flashable). Temperature:38degrees max (with cooler) 43degrees max if not using cooler. Game Settings:Medium 60 fps, game runs 55-60fps most of the time but certain drop downs happens rarely at 50fps but goes to 55-60fps again.

That is my settings too when i play it. i put all effects to high, and resolution to medium but i put the frames to 45 fps to let my battery last 5 hours playing it. fortunately I do not need to mod my device. the video is just to test my device running on all max but honestly i never play games in max settings unless for a test

Everyone who are having issues, how about contacting support? Kuro games is a good developers so maybe they'll listen if enough of us contact them that they notice. Just tell them that snap dragon 870 phones are having issues. It's at least worth a shot(?)

knowing them, they are most likely working on it already but takes time since there are a lot more chipsets thet need to optimize for. but i'd say give em a few weeks and they will mostly fix it, unlike wzm 😅

It slipped my mind when I recorded it😅 I did put it on my later test video on fighting Mech Abomination. It runs around 43+ to 60 fps.

Bro which snapdragon 870 is this 💀 mine doesn't have the ultra high shadows and on max it feels like 35 to 40 fps max with fluctuations in city areas reaching around 20 to 30

I think they overclocked all Legion Y700 tabs. But it also comes down to how the devs optimize a specific device. Personally, i thought i wouldn't be able to run this on max. I only get like 47-53 frames on it tho.

Its probably because of your ram, if you have memory extension on, then turn it off because it reduce ram performance while increase ram capacity. There's more solutions but the point is that the ram limits the power of the SD870

I think poco devices have their chipset limited to run at full speed. does poco have a game mode ui? try running it on max performance. but if it doesn't work, the only way is to use a custom rom or wait for the devs to optimize it specifically for poco devices. there is one in the comments who uses a poco with a custom rom and got it to run as good or even better than mine

This game is not for low budget gamer, my nitro5 amd rizen5 with 16gb ram barely run at 30 fps with the lowest game setting

it should run well with your laptop tho. this game only needs like 4gb gpu and 8 gb ram. the tab I use tho is much more cheaper than a nitro 5 but pc will always he the better choice.

Becuase you are using the low settings ffs. Advanced aka max runs 10 times better than low. How i know? on my nitro 5 that only have a 1650 low stutters like mf and advanced runs smoothly.

😅 i swear it is. Look up the specs for a Legion Y700 (2022) Tab. I'm pretty sure lenovo took out the limits for the sd870 on it.
