It's horrifying when you hear that gasp from Rose, because she actually is being killed by having her nano machines shut off. I thought she was crying at first but it's much worse than that.

I never thought about it until someone pointed it out, but whenever Rose says something you hear her gasp at the end. At first you just think it's shock that Raiden's dead, but considering her vitals are later revealed to be tied to his, that's very likely her dying. This game has some incredilbly chilling details.

I've always wondered, why? To what end? The S3 plan doesn't even start until Fatman's dead and they make it clear she gets abducted when she exposes herself as a Patriot spy. Her death was meant to be a punishment for failing or refusing to kill Solidus unless they're forcing her to go with the plan like with Olga.

@@TBrizzle01 Right before the fight with Solidus, at the end of the Patriots' speech, they order Raiden to kill Solidus. Raiden refuses, saying he's through following orders. The Patriots remind him of Olga's warning "If you die, my child dies." and say that Rose is wired the same way.

Yeah, friendly AI isn't playing around in this game, shoot Snake, he'll shoot back, punch him, he'll punch back. Even better, if you attack Pliskin too much when you meet him for the very first time (when he tries to nap), he'll become permanently hostile and will shoot you non-stop, unless you tranquilize him lol
