I am 69 and heard this beautiful song. I became enchanted, bought a (good) kalimba, learned a few weeks and now play this piece too. Not quite as well as she does, but I enjoy every note. I recommend it to everyone. You're never too old to start.

Same! I always luked piano but its classes are very expensive for me, not to mention the actual piano itself. My parents cannot afford those. Im thinking to get a kalimba. Its just too romantic and cute. I wanna play it. I could afford it by my pocket money alone- but not the very good quality ones

You know that the kalimba has only 17 notes (it's not a piano ;-), mostly tuned in C major (in Game of Thrones F -> F#). But even the smallest instrument inspires when it is played well. My first kalimba was a cheap one. When I realised that I was going to love this instrument, I bought a very good one.

@@glowfishblue oh sorry, i compared kalimba and piano because i like instruments where pressing keys plays the note. Kaalimba is kinda of "press to play" type too but a little different. So yea theres that. I cant play guitar or drums or violin or any other other instrument because they are very difficult and expensive aswell

Cat Daddy Yeah. And I’m an English teacher. :P I don’t think reading is pointless, I just recognize it’s a leisure activity, unlike churning butter or whatever. The OP talked about kids looking at their phones. That’s not a terrible thing, necessarily. It’s not morally inferior to reading. But, on the other hand, the information that we curate off our phones is not always great.
