Timpani and tambourine are well known, hapr and domra are very popular in Russia, cymbals is also used in our time. Hurdy gurdy, lute and whistle are used among Middle Ages' style music lovers (sorry for my English). They all are alive

Кстати менестрелем в среднее века называли не просто музыканта, а знатную особу из дворян которая могла играть на инструментах, состовлять баллады. И что бы их послушать собирались специально.

Да даже забывать весь сериал не обязательно, я честно говоря его очень давно смотрел и с удовольствием бы пересмотрел. Но разочарование от 8 сезона просто убило всё. НВО надо было не приквел снимать, а переосмысленный и переделанный 8 сезон 2.0, и перед ним пустить в прокат первые 7 сезонов.

Смотрю, люди делятся на фанатов ИП и тех кому вообще не зашёл:) Средних нет. Мне, к примеру, больше "Чёрные паруса" зашёл. Вроде бы его создавали создатели "Игры престолов". Концовка только в сериале " Чёрные паруса" не понравилась.
