Might be an unpopular opinion to say, I've been wanting to get the ASOIAF audiobooks but the narration often threw me off, especially with the later books where it's so dreary like a frail old guy narrating, oh wait It could be that I listened to a bad recording on audible but i really want Audible to rerecord ASOIAF with a new Narrator If they can get Ian Glenn that would be awesome

roy dotrice is good at reading the book... but when he plays the characters in the book it's often terrible... he likes to do the spittle voice, lots of saliva and slurping for characters like varys and old nan... and his version of tyrian lannister starts out as some kinda country bumpkin farm boy wersell gummage, and then changes into some kinda impression of a leprechaun from wales... really ruines the story for me. and he has no sense of suspense and foreboding, he reads the scary/intense bits way to jolly and energetic.

What a boring narrator.......great books but the narrator is pretty dull.
