Hey, Tom. Perfect video. You're awesome. Have you already watched a TV show called Outlander? There are many accents from England and Scotland spoken by the actors and actresses. You could make a video analysing the character's accents. It would be amazing. Cheers from Brazil !!!

Tom, I would love an accent video of Holly Willoughby, if you could. ^^
Game of Thrones and Eat Sleep Dream English are both GREAT things in the world. "Phoebe Buffay" (With a slight change by the way)😅 Lots of love Mohammadhossein from Iran❤❤❤

hi tom. recently ive been watching only fools and horses tv show. it is hilarious. but sometimes i find it difficult to understand what they say. if im not mistaken they speak with the cockney accent. please could you make a video about it? thank you
@EatSleepDreamEnglish
3 жыл бұрын
Great idea Rudolf. I love that show and you are right it is Cockney. I've done one or two videos about the Cockney accent but I've got plans to do more.
Please do a deep dive into the Yorkshire LEGEND and amazing actor, Sean Bean's accent. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
“I could care less” never made sense to me either, I always thought it was stupid and I’m American born/raised.
The first lines that came up in me are “that is what I do, I drink and I know things” (Tyrion), “winter is coming” (Ned/Jon), “Ai don won’it” (Jon), “hodor!” (Hodor) and....”my **** is dark and full of terrors” (Melissandre) lol!
Could u talk Wanda vision Tom, I'll be glad if u make it 😊
✅🙏
In America I would say we use either or, could or couldn’t care less, though I like couldn’t because it really drives the point home that you care so little you could not care any less than you do. Whereas could care less makes it sound like you care a bit and could care even less than you already do, if that makes sense.
Game of thrones is the best , could you make a video Eddie Redmayne accents ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Game of thrones? I thought it's got to have an old fashioned language
@EatSleepDreamEnglish
3 жыл бұрын
To a degree some of it is formal and slightly old-fashioned but the phrases I chose are very much used today in everyday English.
we already have this on the "learn English With Tv Series" channel, bring something new.
I know I am just an insignificant user but perhaps a video (or live) on UK accents from the perspective of a non-native speaker would be most advantageous... Dunno... Perhaps... Might... Ever?

@@EatSleepDreamEnglish For instance, when I first landed in Doncaster, I thought I was in a different country. What I had learnt in school (secondary and uni) had nothing to do with real-life English (especially the Yorkshire one). I literally cried my eyes out because I could not understand a word, even though before that, I had thought I had been quite alright with English. It was a lesson which I will never forget and after coming back to my home country, I vowed to myself that besides textbook English (BBC English) take teaching accents and dialects as my personal mission because I do not want my learners to feel what I felt in Donny. Summat li' 'a'... ;)
