I'm actually from Trinidad, born and raised. Not many people know about the country, so back home just watching one of my favourite shows and Trinidad and Tobago was mentioned. It meant a lot, especially because I was struggling a lot as a queer trans guy, and being white I kinda really stood out. Luckily I made it to Canada to seek asylum this May. I dont wanna make this super deep, but the visibility is so important. There are so many people back there in terrible conditions with no way to leave. I'm hoping that the more light brought to the situation the greater the chance for helping people back home and hopefully change can be made.

Fun fact if arin ever sees it, both gyuunyuu and miruku are correct but its specific to the termonoloy, since milk in that context is for a non-japanese cunjunction word, many people will use miruku rather than gyuunyuu but if youre talking about just milk you could use just gyuunyuu and they should understand, otherwise soemtimes it just comes down to the idiosyncricies of regional dialect and that some regions use miruku exclusively.

Joe Morgan ok Anglicised American. That’s just how the Scots language works. Just because it doesn’t make sense to you doesn’t mean it’s wrong. It’s also not pronounced “bra”. It’s pronounced similar to “burrow,”, the r comes after the u, it just sounds like ‘bra’ because of how Scots speak.

My father is from Glasgow (I was born in America). As he is my dad, and I've known him my whole life, to me he just sounds "normal". I do not recognize that he speaks with a Glaswegian accent. I recognize Glaswegian accents in other people, my uncle for example, but not my dad. So it was always a trip growing up, when my friends would meet my dad and say things like, "Dude! I didn't know you were Scottish."

Bad advice. Ppl will read your comment and let cops violate the shit out of their rights by not standing up for themselves on the side of the road. They wont have anything to use in court because they allowed the cops to, for example, search their vehicle. More importantly, people should get super familiar with what rights they have because you wont know when a cop is violating one of your rights
