The white almost carrot-like looking substance slowly, yet heroically rising out of that steaming black and white container against the backdrop of this music was probably the best reverse dump this world had ever seen.

Then you don't understand the tone and juxtaposition they are trying to portray with the opening and closing themes. The opening song and closing songs are supposed to be a dulcet and calm feeling to really accentuate the craziness and hyperactivity of the episodes.
