The end scene where Dan pulls out the locket is incredible. The texture on his hand? The texture of the LOCKET?! It legit looked like metal. The shine and the scratches on it. Holy shit. I rewatched that bit multiple times to admire it.

I love how the lore now has it that Billy's grown up from just being a cancer patient who likes Game Grumps, to recovering and now having both Grumps be tracking him AND his Dad for "truth seeking" purposes.

Omg the visual bits like with Dan pulling a knife on Billy, Arin having the pictures of the dad, and Dan having the locket were SO good!! You've gotten super good at adding your own spin on stuff!

I loved this! The overbite/underbite for each is such a cute design choice too! This has me wanting to dabble in animation again :)

Thanks! Go for it! I spent like 2 whole years, just not making art due to lack of motivation, but making the Grumps stuff has been very fulfilling. Even if you're making it just for you, it feels good to just make something sometimes.

Genius to set it in a rainy noir setting to use the powerwashing sounds.

This gives me such a mix of the grumpuses from bugsnax and the muppets mixed with a detective noir and I am absolutely here for it! It looks amazing! ❤❤ your animation is insanely good!!

I think this is incredible, honestly. So many of the choices made for this animation just really make it stand out, and really made it enjoyable, everything from just the overall visual style to the use of Muppet style models. But I think the use of rain is a stroke of genius that takes this to the next level, because it's something that thematically works with the black and white noir detective look and feel of the video, but can also be used to mask and seamlessly blend in the power washing sounds so that it's not even something you notice. Just smart.

Getting to the truth and no matter of how many dads they'll have to kiss to get to it.
