Yeah I still see them at gas stations. The ones that are hard to find are original and Tropical strike. But they released a Mtn Dew Gamer Fuel Zero line with 2-3 drinks which Caffeine man did a review over: Watermelon Shock Raspberry Lemonade And Orange Storm

Honestly I like Game Fuel's caffeine content bc if you're having multiple cans per gaming session you probably don't want 300mg per can. Love that the lid closes too. I'll just pretend that Game Fuel has been listening to what I've been ranting about for all these years. The word you're looking for is ACE-sul-FAME Potassium. In the 'biz, us food nerds call it Ace-K.

See, Ace-K to me is an great opening hand in No Limit Texas Holdem. I actually said it really fast in my list of ingredients so that people couldnt tell if I said it right 😂 Then, later on, had to say it again and couldnt bluff it.

THANKS!!! Appreciate it. And as much as Id like to agree with you, I follow my KZread analytics closely. My longer videos do get occasional spikes.... and I'm realizing you might not know my KZread slang. Basically, when people skip ahead, it causes spike in the Audeience Retention graph. It allows me to follow where people leave the video or come back or rewatch certain parts. its useful if you ever have unsuccessful videos, you can sometimes track it back to something you said, or a point where people know you are ending the video because you have a long closing. Anyway, Babble, babble Babble... Thanks!!! I still need the timestamps though, even though most people dont use them, some will. Gotta try and keep everyone happy 👍

Great video as always. Loved the history lesson. Your definitely my go to for all things caffeine. I have a recommendation you might want to try. Alani nu energy. I picked up the 4 flavors it comes in at GNC and there really good especially there shaved Ice flavor. My GF drink them and I drink bang lol

Its a it of randomness, with some organized chaos mixed it. For example, one cube has the Bang with the associated copy cat Reign flavors right in front of them for comparison. Another shelf is healthy drinks. Another shelf is a random bunch based on size and what fits. Then, some of the colors clash, so they get moved around. Each video is different. I will always end up moving some around. Some people may notice, others may not. Some shelves have a point, others are random. Then, next video, that all changes again. Was that helpful? Thats how my head works. Ltheanine helps me focus more.

Was watching your review of Game Fuel from May 2019. and how you ended up comparing regular Mtn Dew and Game Fuel Mtn Dew, did you test the cherry flavor against the Code Red flavor?

THANK YOU for talking about the sugar - fewer ingredients doesn't = healthy. I loved the history lesson too - good to know how these drinks are all related. BTW I have an energy drink WITH breakfast but my energy drink isn't my whole breakfast unless it's one of those Muscle Monster types with protein and caffeine.

WITH Breakfast is probably better, since it will help metabolize all that food better, LOL 😂 But, sometimes, there isnt food availble so we take what we can get. Yeah...sugar...its what they are known for. Needed to be mentioned. I do tend to bring up the sugar in most drinks in general though...probably because Ive been cutting back...or shocked by the actual numbers.

Good review, CM! Just got my hands on a few of these from my gas station. Cherry was also my least favorite, by far. I also enjoyed the Berry and Tropical the most. I'd have to say Berry is #1 for me, but I'll give the Tropical another shot just because you liked it so much! I got the pineapple taste from the Tropical...gonna try to look for the Mango and Orange flavors next go-around. Cya on the next installment buddy, cheers! :)

Im not sure where it is coming out, I just know that they are introdicing a canned beverage instead of just the powdered pre-workout one. So, since I prefer canned energy/preworkout drinks, I'll be reviewing that and not the regular poweder gfuel.

I find it to be pretty good. Not bad, but not overly good, so I tend to pick up other drinks over Kickstart.

I wish these were still around to this day, especially that feature with the can opener when you can close it. Idk what other drink companies have this feature on their cans? If I were to pick a flavor for Mountain Dew Game Fuel, it’s gotta be the blue one for sure and also the green one! :P

To start great video man you never let us down. I do actually have a energy drink almost every morning for breakfast 😂. I do agree that the caffeine content is low. I actually had one of these last week I had the original flavor and I really enjoyed the drink but sadly because of the low caffeine i won’t be as likely to make it the drink I drink before work or playing video games. Upon closer inspection, there are no warnings about "If under 18", not intended for under 18... etc...etc. Probably because the caffeine isnt that high. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, certain energy drinks in the morning can wreak havoc on peoples stomachs in the morning. Some people are more sensitive to certain ingredients, especially the ones made with green tea, or green tea extract. Green tea on an empty stomach doesnt work for a lot of people.

love the channel! just came across it but ive been drinking monster while i game for years and then i found reign which is stronger than monster but tastes so good and then i discovered the gamefuels which are also great tasting and are not as hard as the other energy drinks which is nice because i dont have to worry if i have a few! and i dont like soda either soo

Glad you enjoyed it! The topper also made it weird to drink by the time you got to the end, because you had to tip it so much that your lip was rubbing against the cap. Weird.

This stuff, I love it. My favorite flavor has to be Tropical Strike. I get a perfect boost without feeling like I just ate powdered caffeine straight up (please don’t do that, PLEASE) and while I do kinda think the focus thing is a placebo, it’s a good working one.

Miss the old Amp Lightning, used to drink those with my friend all the time back in the day.

I think they took your advice on the reducing amount of flavors and focusing mainly on one drink when they came out with Rise

Ive heard a few other people say the same thing. Except the 3D is a bit lighter, not as carbonated, and packs more of a caffeine punch! 👊 But flavor wise, yes.

Thats been on my "idea" list for a long time and I even did a Premiere Video on "who has the best orange." I was hoping to do it monthly "who has the best berry; peach, etc" but didnt have the time. As for a video, only doing 1, sometime 2 videos a week, I am very far behind on my regular energy drink requests and sometimes even the new drinks when they come out. Maybe, someday, if I ever have more time on my hands, I would be able to do videos like that. Thanks for the suggestion though. Always looking for new ideas (even if I dont have the time to do them).

When Taco Bell was testing out the breakfast market in CA they had a breakfast drink called "morning dew" it was part mt dew and part orange juice which they mixed in store. It was pretty good. When they took breakfast nationwide they started serving orange kickstart instead.

Exactly. If you dont like coffee, tea aint gonna cut it... unless you make your tea with caffeinated water, like me. But, yeah, in general, easier to just have an energy drink!

😂😂😂 Well, stick with the Game Fuels and Monster Ultras for breakfast. A Bang on an empty stomach isnt a good thing. A Bang for a 14 year old isnt either! 😀

One thing I like about the lower-caffeine content drinks is that you can drink more of them. How many Bangs can you drink in a day? I stick to one. But I would like to continue drinking them. Do they make caffeine-free Bang?

Yes, they have several flavors of Bang that are caffeine free. Unfortunately, I dont know how they taste because...well...I wouldnt touch a caffeine free beverage. 😂 I heard they are pretty good though. i agree with you too. As much as I like Reign or Bang, I much prefer to have 2 or 3 drinks a day. I would never (most likely never) consider having 2 Bangs in one day...plus, all the other drinks I normally have.

Hey Caffeine Man, I was wondering if you knew the reasoning behind why the Amp Energy drinks are so hard to find, and when I can find them, they only have the original. Haven’t been able to find the Punch, Strawberry Limeade, etc. Great video!

I can't say for sure as there isnt any information out there like that, but if I had to guess, Id say they are an old dog not learning any new tricks. For a while they tried to be creative and come out with a few but inevitably when sales fail, they can't afford to make a product that doesn't sell, so it gets discontinued. With so many other options out there, Amp is barely keeping its head above water. They have been around for decades but seem to be about ready to become part of the history books. The only reason its still around is because of the bankroll of Pepsi. Even this Game Fuel is slowly disappearing off shelves. Mtn Dew just can't seem to get energy drinks right.

Yeah, I might have to try that. I used to be a big fan of Arizona. Not liking soda, Iced Tea was a huge part of my life. My favorite used to be the green tea with honey. Then I saw the serving size and sugar count. I was shocked that a "healthy" green tea had so much sugar and had to stop drinking it. The Energy though...sounds good...even if it has 23g of sugar, I have an excuse to try it now. LOL

Well, do remember, Im still "new".... or at least I think I am? But, I still have a LOT more drinks to go. So many I havent reviewed yet. AND this summer is freakin' killing me! Bang new flavors, Rockstar new flavors, Adrenaline Shoc just came out and I havent gotten to that yet! Plus, G-Fuel... I mean, I can't keep up. Cant they stop coming out with new drinks until I catch up!!! 😂😂😂

Once, when I opened on of these, it sprayed all over my mouse and keyboard and the numpad got so sticky that i replaced my keyboard. As far as recall, I didn't even shake it up

Nope, dont need to shake it, it just exploded, so I can imagine if there was ANY kind of movement involved. Even AFTER it was opened, I had closed it for later and it exploded the second time.

Bang is actually distributed by Pepsi here in South Florida.

Really??? Thats interested. I thought it was Miller or Anhiser that distributed it. I would imagine its a conflict of interest for Pepsi to do it when Pepsi already has so many of their own energy drinks.

Kickstart is sold at my schools lunch because it's small sugar content. It's better than drinking diet because diet is dreadful.

Most sodas are bad for you, and energy drinks have healthier ingredients so its a good option. As long as the sugar is low and its not too caffeinated. Kickstart is a decent choice, but so is Game Fuel.

I do! Either an energy drink or a bunch o' coffee. Don't actually eat until lunch time

According to all the medical studies and websites, children under 13 shouldn't have caffeine at all. From ages 13-17, no more than 100-150mgs. Truth is, most kids don't know it (and wont admit to it), but they don't need caffeine and/or energy. They have PLENTY!!! When they become adults they truly know the full meaning of the word tired and will NEED the caffeine😂😂😂. If you get used to caffeine when you are young, you will develop a tolerance to it and it will become less effective...so once you are an adult, it might not work and they you really really reallly be tired without any alternatives. You'll be falling alseep in your car. falling asleep at work. Falling asleep watching tv. Ok, I'll stop now. 😂

Been a Mountain Dew drinker for more than 30 years but never had anything but original and diet. Almost always start my day with an energy drink.

@@keithdbrown Yeah, it worked out quite well for my wardrobe changes but dont expect it all the time! I cant afford that many shirts! LOL! As for the fast talking a 1:31....whenever I have to give the speeech to "subscribe and social media" I speed through it. most of my subscribers dont want to hear it, but i have to remind the new people to the video.

Tried two different flavors last weekend. Wasn't a huge fan of the Original Dew, guess I have been drinking Diet Dew for so many years. The Berry Blast wasn't too bad though.

I’m actually drinking the cherry flavor right now and for meeeeee it’s good. I appreciate that it has less caffeine because I can’t handle much caffeine like I used to.

Glad you liked the video and I was a fan of the cherry at first, but it hit me with that after taste. But overall good products. If you are looking for some lower caffeine energy drink recommendations, I recommend the Sparkling Ice Plus caffeine...if you havent already tried it. Ive also done a review on it, if you havent seen it.

Mountain dew should rebrand code red and lime wire as energy drinks up the caffinee to 200 and reformulated it with less sugar.

I’d say keep the sugar since livewire is my favorite soda of all time and I wouldn’t want the taste to change. But I agree with the energy drink idea, I already drink one of the orange red bulls every day, would rather it be a livewire

If I have to get up early I'll drink a reign for breakfast and that's it lol 😂

Indeed...and it seems timeless since it’s so old, yet so many new flavors are coming out, so those kids trying the new flavors now can be nostalgic in 10 years. 👍🏻
