Bad ass fish bro. Im from ensenada. These past months have been very good for us. 20+ bluefin for us Avr, 80+ lbs. 145 lbs P.B for me. I highly recommend big treble hook in de back. Boosts up your hookup/land rate. Works yust fine. We and all our local pangas do the same.
I’ve seen you guys at the fuel dock recently buying up all the ice….. now I see why! I was like damn those guys are confident

It seems like you can never have enough ice! You will have to say Hi next time!
Don’t be afraid to drive the boat on the fish. Dead boating them is wild lol😅

It sure does. We run them all with the treble now. This was last year right when the craze started. We had to learn as when went! Thanks for watching

I really appreciate that. Filming on a small boat is not easy by any means. We have a 23 foot Parker pilothouse. Thank you for watching!
Nice video's brogher ,hey what leader lb. test did you tie madmacs to? Mono or fluorocarbon? Million likes

Hey man! We typically run the Mac’s on 130 braid to a 130 or 150 flouro wind on. Crimp the lure straight to the wind on. Appreciate the support!
Man I wish I saw your video before I went out this past weekend. I was trolling way to slow. Thanks for the tips on terminal tackle or lack there of for the high speed troll. About how much line was let out on those? Nice video, thanks.

I also noticed the ponga guys seem to keep it in gear the whole fight to keep the fish on a constant plane so they don’t have a chance to dive and circle. Going out tomorrow to give it a try.
I am starting to troll MadMacs I put it back 100-115 yards is that far enough???

We typically go around 200 yards. Grab a marker and put a mark on the line. Good luck!
Cool vid! 🐟 What size test line and knot do you have on lure

Thanks man! We typically run the madmacs on 130 or 150lb. Wind on leader crimped directly to the madmac. We try to avoid knots and extra hardware so the lures run true. That’s just what has worked best for us. Thanks for watching!

They were gilled, gutted, and iced down promptly. Sometimes the bite window is so short we’re doing everything at once! Thanks for watching man!
