This has great sound better than the other f-zero for the gba (maximum velocity)

It's thanks to this video that I am now one of the best players on F-Zero Central in this game. I am so glad I decided to pick this one up.

For those who don't know, a lot of the F-Zero characters in the series were based on Nintendo's other game's main characters for example James McCloud is based on Fox McCloud's father from Star Fox. In this game Nintendo created a new character, Rick Wheeler (Ryu Suzaku in Japan) and his nemesis is Zoda. Rick Wheeler's character design looks very much similar to Mike Jones, the main protagonist of Star Tropics and in that game series the main villain is also called Zoda. In fact the second game is called Star Tropics II: Zoda's Revenge. Rick Wheeler going after Zoda in this game is Nintendo's nod to Star Tropics just like James McCloud is a nod to Star Fox.

Wow, I never knew that this game existed until now. I've only ever played F-Zero on the SNES before.

It's so sad. While most people believe that F-Zero GX/AX (July 2003) was the last game in the series, it's actually this game (Nov 2003) and its sequel, "F-Zero Climax" (Oct. 2004) that were the last in the series.. While I did mention its sequel, it was only ever released in Japan. To the rest of the world however, this would be the final F-Zero game that we got,...and this was in 2004. This is excluding spin offs and Cameos obviously. Man how we all miss F-Zero.

Suzak developed better F-Zero games on GBA than Nintendo EAD did with F-Zero: Maximum Velocity. Some of the songs in this game were reused from F-Zero and F-Zero X

Your using the vehicles battery to boost, field hazzards and the magnetic repulsors drain the battery. If it empty's you hit the track at the speed of sound. Just something more to manage.

Wow the writing in this game is so bad. I love this games concept, expanding on the F zero universe, but holy crap. Nothing happens, nothing of value is said, and it’s also nonsense. Wasted potential.

I mean, this game came out while the anime was still airing, so they couldn’t do a lot with it. Btw, watch the anime if you haven’t already. It starts off slow and a bit underwhelming after episode 2, but it starts getting good after episode 10, and blasts off with episode 30. There was an English dub but A) 4Kids, and B) it was canned after 15 episodes, so your only option is the original Japanese. You can find it on KZread (fansubs since there was never an official sub).

@@paperluigi6132 I’ve seen one episode. The Super Arrow episode where captain falcon shows up out of nowhere and blows up Zoda. It seemed much improved over the video game that seemed to only have time to do character cameos. Still felt like a show just for kids though. Any entertainment I got out of it felt like it was for the wrong reasons.
