can u use beeswax instead of dorlands?

Can you tell me about the beautiful painting behind you? Is that a cold wax painting as well or is it just oil? Acrylic? It's beautiful.

Can I use spike lavender oil as a solvent?

Is Dorland’s cold wax non-toxic? Do I need ventilation when I mix them with oil paints without solvents?

Thank you for sharing. I am in Cozumel, Mexico for the winter Of course, I was not allowed to travel on the plane with cold wax or the oil paints. I have not been able to find cold wax here. I am going to attempt to make my own and will certainly follow all safety rules. Once I return home to Canada in April 2021, I plan on ordering your book as well as signing up for the CW Academy Lessons. Thank you for all of your insightful information and tips.

Jackie, try reaching out to Gamblin. There is a store in Monterrey that carries Gamblin supplies. Perhaps you could order from them.
