Mental health crisis is real, worldwide. In general, police are not trained to handle mental health crises. More funding and training is necessary and to employ more mental health professionals and treatment centers.

It's not helpful for a mental health to approach a police! It's helpful if the health Department can think to protect them in not letting them alone ! It's good to be accompanied everywhere . Long time ago people was keeping their loved ones in this condition in a separate room and bathroom all empty.
